Sorry for the intrusionย  ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Funny that trancefolk bandy about these catchy Eastern religous sayings like they're nothing.

Imagine if I went around Sacred Earth screaming, “Hallelujah!ร‚ย  Praise Jesus!”ร‚ย

    People would think I was crazy.ร‚ย  ร‚ย

Underfoot brings out yet another pertinent point about phrases used at psy gatherings ;D ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ;D
Personally, with the limited religious knowledge i have,ร‚ย  I dont think that any of these phrases have
anything to do with Hinduism at all. Every person has a different reason to use them and I dont judge
anyone because I believe in the freedom of speech. Psy culture to me is secular overall and thats part
of the reason why people all over the world who like psy are more spiritual than religious like myself
    are part of itย  ๐Ÿ™‚

WOW!! Mother Nature tested our will power to the limit and made us search for power reserves within us for the first time this year ๐Ÿ™‚
I for one can say that i passed the test..yaay ;D ;D I totally agree with Igor's assessment of the energy at the gathering. Only true believers
withstood the brutality and persevered through the weekend. I dont know what the total count of the gathering was but can say that
a lot of people stayed till sunday morning. Everyone that I met had great vibes and people tried to make sure that everyone there was enjoying
themselves as much as they could. Met some Indian pysheads too which is always warming. Thanks to Naveen, Poornima and their friend
(sorry I forgot ur name) for letting me sleep in the Van for sometime.

Wonderful organization throughout the gathering. Friendly staff doing their part and making sure everything went well. There were a couple of Djs
that didnt show up in the EDM stage but the Psy stage was butter smooth in its operation!! Does that say something?? ๐Ÿ™‚

Mubali, VAX and Paradigm are great people and made sure that the event had the energy desired. Hope to see you in the Midwest again!!
Derby played some great goa tracks in the morning on Saturday that I was not able to dance to because of my physical state..sorry Derby:)

Jeffz was awake throughout the gathering making sure that everything was falling in place like a expert organizer!! Kudos to you Jeff ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks to Airyck for providing me places to lay down a couple of times and sorry to the people whose tents I invaded ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ::) ;D ;D ๐Ÿ˜€
I made the mistake of not bringing my car to the event and was kinda stuck with not being able to find a hotel room.

Will make sure to arrange transportation for myself next time to avoid the same problem. I had to leave early sunday morning at about 8:30 am
as we had to drive back and were totally exhausted from the weather(being wet and cold didnt suit me well ..sorry!!) Looking forward to Sacred
Earth and hope that I get to meet all of you there:)

    Hello People!!

It is interesting to read all the various perspectives of people from different backgrounds. Being from India myself, I had the same concept (like Varun) of raves being outdoor parties in contrast to the indoor concept here.

On the other hand, I have seen the same kind of people in all parties irrespective of the country where the party is being held. You will have people who are friendly and forthcoming along with those who are snobbish and always maintain the superiority complex whereever they go. The
%-age spread might be a little different, thats all.

I have been in the US for 7 yrs now and before Geologic, I did not know that Psy existed in the US. All the parties before that were all hard techno, drum and bass, hard trance etc. I met greatย  as well as shitty people in these parties.

Not all people in US raves nowadays do E (from my experience) and many just stick to alcohol, period. People on E do tend to be more friendly in my opinion and thats something I like:) I would not agree with the opinion that only people in raves are looking to get laid however. Horny people are there in Indian raves as well as the US ones and sometimes in psytrance gatherings ;D ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Both E and A have their experiences that are wonderful in their own ways. In my opinion, A just makes you think more about the issues that you are facing and sometimes you come up with very good ways to solve them. E on the other hand has been used as an Anti-depressant before it was banned and I can say from my experience that it has definitely helped me as well.

IMO, A does make you aloof and isolated because of the inward analytical frame of mind that keeps you from socializing like when you are on E. However Taken in moderation!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ;), I think both of them are wonderful ways to expand your horizons in life.
