    Why isn't RP a democrat?

He's not very socially liberal (consider the programs he wants to cut, and being against abortion to name some), I think that's what sets him apart the most.

Exactly!  That's why I'm befuddled anyone from our socially liberal community would consider voting for him.

Typical republican response when asked about social justice, “What's that?”.

You do realize what he says now and what he does or doesn't accomplish after being elected are two very different things?  He won't be able to do everything he sets out to do simply because it's not politically possible to do so.  So he'll be forced to do the things that will get him re-elected.  Those things will be what his base wants and the marginalized, like drug crazed homosexual relationship imposing people, will get thrown under the bus.

Who is a major part of his base?  Tea baggers, and they have a very clear social agenda.  You cannot let this lady and other lizard people have a seat at the table.  She will eat your children!

Very awesome Abe!  Haven't read the full text yet butwill be doing so.  I'm wondering what the use of only right handed subjects controls for?  What would be the difference?

If it wasn't for the nonsense that's been attached to the Mayan I doubt the world at large would even be aware of them.  Why not celebrate all the other ancient calendar systems and culture.  Kudos though on actually including a Mayan and respecting the indig cultures.  Wish you're event well!

I will not attend any event in 2012 that even hints at Mayan non-sense.*

(*Not that my old arse attends many events anyway.)

The issues against a Ron Paul presidency certainly are not shallow by any means.  Yes, I greatly admire his stance on economic and foreign policy issues. That is only 1/2 of the picture though.  His social agenda would absolutely destroy years of social justice gains in this country.  That would be just as devastating to our country that is based upon personal freedoms, just not economic personal freedoms.

The main baggage that comes with an RP presidency are those tea baggers.  He could not win without their support and he'll have to give them a seat at the table.  That's like asking the devil to dinner.  Tea baggers use the guise of fiscal conservatives to advance their positions but they are really just want to push their morality on others.

For some RP lulz this is a pretty damn funny vid:

Here's another reason I can't support him.  He's unable to separate his morality from his politics.

    Statement of Faith

“I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate.”

    -Ron Paul

My faith is a deeply private issue to me, and I don”t speak on it in great detail during my speeches because I want to avoid any appearance of exploiting it for political gain.  Let me be very clear here:  I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate.

It is God Who gave us life.  As He is free, so are those He created in His image.  Our rights to life and liberty are inalienable.

I've been a fan of RP but I'm worried if elected that he won't be able to stop the tea baggers from wiping out the social justice strides that have been made in this country.  I don't wanna pray the gay away!  ;D

    Black Swan

That was some f'ed up shit.  Great movie, plus you get to see Natalie Portman fingering herself as well as some hot lesbo action!  Opening dance scene was excellent…very powerful.  Grabbed me into the movie from the get-go.

Remember, Congress Theater security are douchebags. Plan accordingly. Seriously, they really suck. Also, the place is too big in my opinion. Other than that, I mean, it's still a Shpongle show. I'm sure it will be good times. Anyone know how much it'll cost?

    what you mean by douchebags?

The worst security ever!  They'll stop and search people at any time throughout the night without any cause…then toss you out the door if you refuse or rob you even.
