Thanks for the feedback Paul..I was hoping to hear some honest feedback like this because I was using just my computer without my midi controller when recording this set..:) This was recorded live with no edits whatsoever..and with the sound system there people didnt seem to notice much from the dancing I saw…lol!!

Eqing with the mouse was a pain but I will try to re-record the set using the controller to get better results technically..I disagree about the flow though as I feel that the track sequence creates a story according to me..and that was the most important part of the mix to me where I spend the most amount of time!! Most of the mix came together during a “special experience” so can speak for that myself..!!

Thats a great point..the main difference being that no one from the audiognomes crew has rained shit on a MOS party thread like Nate did by taking names and making it personal..

expressing ur imagination of a gathering should not lead to personal attacks imho..if u have a personal comment to make..u can always choose to pm the person and try to reach a conclusion before making personal statements..does that make any sense?

i think its hilarious how 90% of the comments regarding this “debate” were “calm the fuck down!”  “chill out people”  ect. 

when reading the comments I pictured everyone using their “inside voices”    and then everybody started freaking out about how everyone needed to calm down  😀  its ok!  everyone has their own idea of what is a good night but if you state your opinion in comparison to another style of party throwing expect others to chime in with their opinion to.  i for one think that flow can be construed under many different ways so thats why its good there are other crews/locations.  that way people can put on what they envision as a good flow/party to compare with the energy of the crowd that it draws and create their own personal scene with unique traits that draws the crowd in the first place.  if we all threw the same type of parties we would be a lot more susceptible to getting bored with it.  thats why theres so many different styles of psy; to complement different styles of flow within a night. 

im really trying to go to this party.  i have already been asked to help with a local multigenre edm party for a really good friend that has helped us in the past but am trying to get out of it to come.  i hope all works out.  and one question – how many people can fit in the venue?

Its just a party and I am glad that there is actually psy party on NYE. Last year there was none and I had to go to a hard ass techno party just because I didnt have anything else to do. So you are better off this time. And META – ooooh…..that guy is pure genius.

I wont be personally present in the event but my energy and well wishes are with you. So all you motha-fuckas, stop cribbing and trance-dance the fuck down on 31st!

not really. 10 artists for 16 hours fit's the bill quite well imo.  2.5 for meta and 1.5 for the rest of us.  thats the plan so far, might change, but that fits 16 hours quite nicely.

The only difference I can see is that you're booked. Otherwise, it will be the same awesome people, the same awesome mix of music, more awesome deco(as usual), and “clean sound” which is your euphemism for “small systems.”

No offense, but that whole statement could be quite insulting  to everyone who has been to the other parties that happened this year(unless it was just hyperbole.)

As far as the old and new – this is exactly what I told you that night. If you are going to do it, you have to think like a hardcore DJ and arrange the tracks in increasing order of production quality. Stuff that sounds older has to go first or it just sounds like ass after a new school track with the better drum sounds.
