ArchaicRevivalMemberBeautifully said, Trevor.
Thanks, Phil. Just my attempt to neutrally mediate the tension of debate with some intellectual nourishment. At times, I certainly need to reel myself back in.
Trevor I don't think your “intellectual nourishment” adds much of anything to this debate, that is not a very polite or mature way to go about this. EVERYTHING SAID here is a matter of opinion, and there is no way to decide whose opinion is better or more accurate regardless of any “facts.”
My brains are definitely not spilling out as you would say and I'm keeping an unbiased open mind.
People need to realize this debate is endless, it's quite obvious that most people here won't be swayed in either direction so why not treat each more decently and try to help others understand all the information.

ArchaicRevivalMemberBefore reading about 15 pages of this thread I was pretty convinced there was something sketchy going on about 9/11, when I saw that people were taking time to do their own mathematical calculations and research for both sides I figured it was reasonable to put aside any previous opinion I had and read what others have said here and do a little more research.
I'm not sure that the educated guesses people have made here make their opinions anymore credible, some blogger guy who likes math doesn't really convince me that 2 planes hitting 2 buildings would make the buildings collapse so suddenly or easily. Has anyone looked into architectural counter measures taken for a terrorist attack? These were the World Trade Center buildings, I'm sure the thought of a terrorist attack on them isn't anything new. The claim that the fireproofing got dislodged as Basilisk has pointed out doesn't seem accurate, a lot of fireproofing deals with spraying some kind of substance. I found this link that talks about the world trade centers specifically but I could be wrong, just something I am unclear about, maybe others are unclear like myself. I've never heard of a spray being dislodged.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Construction_of_the_World_Trade_Center#Fire_protection
I'm also not sure that comparing oranges or apples to buildings falling is appropriate because sometimes people really have no idea how to do basic algebra and need to be told what went down, or want to know badly enough to ask questions. Either way, still not to much to go off from watching the buildings fall on tape again.
I think keeping an open mind here is important so people can communicate their ideas and opinions peacefully and try to clarify as much as possible. From watching about 45min of the video on ae911truth.org, they address quite a few interesting things and have me wondering some things.
I do not think the internet is credible enough to base your opinions strictly on what you've read sitting at your computer, too much shit is on the internet. I intend to keep an open mind, ask questions to friends, colleagues, and professionals when I can and keep a general curiosity toward things that people have invested so much time into.
I wanted to make what would seem to be the first neutral post aside from the comical or smart ass posts because I would like to clarify a few things for myself, one of which being, is everyone here still friends? ha
No real conclusions are going to be drawn from this thread, all the bickering going on makes me a little depressed because of how much bickering and arguing goes on with no real positive outcome on a daily basis. This community has been a place I continually visit because of the positive lasting affects it has made on me. I hope we can all find some common ground and start to take action with the things that our events like to focus on. Peace, togetherness, helping each other, etc.

ArchaicRevivalMemberdissecting cadavers while listening to Psytrance has gotten me even more pumped for Earth Dance!!! just to keep up with lectures and labs, i have been having to put in 5-8 hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, in addition to the usual weekly studying. Last Saturday was my first day of cadaver dissection, and since I went in rather late in the afternoon, there was no one in the lab. i threw on some Full On Psytrance while i began removing fat from the pectoral and axillary region, and let me tell you, it was the most psychedelic anatomy lesson I have ever had 🙂 it is weird how quickly one can adjust to the strong fumes of the embalming fluid when you have Psytrance pulsing throughout the room!
can't wait to reunite with the family!!! i miss all of you so so so much, and so many new faces will be attending a Midwest Psytrance event for their very first time!!! cannot wait to stomp with everyone!
see you on the dance floor 🙂
BOOM!
<3 Abe
….Damn…. haha that's awesome. Quite an excellent 420th post to add to the expsytment 🙂

ArchaicRevivalMemberSome of us are already crazy enough to not need substances. Out of all the psy events and Burning Man events I've been to, I've never had even so much as a full can of beer at any of them and I rock my socks off every time.
Grandfather is an addiction counselor who leads sweat lodges, and while he talks about non-ordinary states of consciousness, he's been clean and sober for decades. It's the dance and the music, my friends. THAT's what does it.
Little children spin around in circles. Why? The increased centrifugal force on their brain causes slight jarring and as such, and altered state of consciousness. Dancing does that too.
I'm no opponent of plant medicines, trust me, but sometimes people use the plants (beer, tobacco, or other substances) to escape reality, rather than to heal reality. <3
That's awesome, I really like the idea of healing reality. I agree that music and dance have very powerful and mind bending effects, but I do also believe some drugs can be used responsibly. Psytrance under the stars until the sun comes up is truly an experience 😀 We need more people focused on stomping 🙂 🙂
ArchaicRevivalMemberThis is a very difficult thing to debate about because a lot of it is very philosophical. Trevor and Abe are in a pretty heated battle, it doesn't need to be like that. Trevor there is no way you can deny to me that the super rich are in a small group working to get richer. Abe I think the best thing to do at this point is to try and give people an opportunity to make a change. I would say its pretty safe to say most people are aware of the alleged “conspiracies” but you can pretty much assume everyone wants to keep the freedoms they have, if some of those freedoms suddenly disappeared a lot of people would be in an outrage. When something that important to people is threatened you can bet they'll do whatever it takes to resolve the situation 🙂
In my personal opinion I think that some basic freedoms have been taken or restricted over the years in such a subtle way that no one really noticed. This would explain why certain mind expanding substances are illegal. Those who have had certain types of experiences, most commonly associated with psychedelics or near death experiences, see things differently. We can all agree that your perspective changes over time. People commonly question things, things like the government when they take in reality with new eyes.
I think we should all come together on some form of loose agreement, we're all here on the same forum with similar goals. The psy parties everyone helps to host really blow some fucking minds 🙂 Theres no doubt about that. I would like to think that for now, this is the best way to make positive changes in a realistic fashion until another opportunity arises. We the people have a voice, but it has to be 1 voice, together to make a difference.
ArchaicRevivalMemberJust wanted to stop in and say thanks to everyone who makes these events possible, in iowa or anywhere for that matter. Special thanks to mindoutpsyde for doing these fantastic parties in the heart of iowa city. I am pretty much a new comer to the psytrance scene and I have been trying to bring new faces to each event to show people the UNBELIEVABLE experience these parties can be. I'm so glad to have met everyone, and hope to meet the rest of you very soon.
So whatever happens, don't stop, keep it GOAN!! 🙂
ArchaicRevivalMemberUnbelievable party. Special thanks to Mindoutpsyde for INSANE back to back parties. keep it up!
ArchaicRevivalMemberhaha well said. this party is going to be INSANE. I'm bringing 4 first timers also, they have NO idea what they're in store for. 🙂
ArchaicRevivalMemberWow is the only thing that comes to mind when looking back on this party. Tons of awesome people, tons of positive vibes, tons of mind blowing psy from people like OCELOT, after party, people dancing WELL into the morning, what else could anyone want out of a weekend?
Special thanks to mindoutpsyde for setting up the event and Abe for hosting all after party guests at his house and THANKS to everyone who had a chance to make it out and make the event more exciting and fun. With another event already on it's way who knows what's in store for the future!! 🙂
ArchaicRevivalMemberBesides online, what stores sell albums like these? I constantly check every place I can think of for some psy with no luck 🙁 albums like these need to be of easy access to me for sure. Anyone got any ideas?

ArchaicRevivalMemberThat video is amazing, I like the ripple in the beginning and end so that everything in between makes sense and comes together in the end. So sweet! You can count me in on that DVD when it comes out for sure.
ArchaicRevivalMemberhaha I completely understand it's very in depth. But now I have something to off of. Thanks
ArchaicRevivalMemberThat's so crazy! Fantastic job with that, also enjoyed the music. Made me relax while I was doing homework, thanks 🙂
ArchaicRevivalMemberWill do, sounds like a blast. And I hope to see all of you at Psyology. GOAIN to be nuts!
ArchaicRevivalMemberEarthDance 2007 will be a landmark in my youth that's for sure. Considering it was my first multiple day outdoor event i've ever gone to……it was complete BLISS. I'm just barely into the college life and meeting new people around campus and stuff i thought was super cool, but going to Earthdance was soooo much better it's not even comparable. Everyone who attended put out such positive vibes making it easy for new comers like myself to have the time of our lives! The music was obviously kick ass, the weather was excellent, the people full of cheer and positive energy, it was a complete release of tension in my life. I can honestly say i've never felt so happy and positive in my entire life, days after the event still. All I can say is THANK YOU to all who showed up, all who helped make the event happen, and i'll be seeing you all again very soon! hopefully with more and more new comers every time 🙂
