PookztAMemberthis is going to be short and sweet.
THANK YOU CHILLUMINATI.
THANK YOU TRANCEPSYNDICATE.
THANK YOU ATTENDEES.
THANK YOU PERFORMERS.
once again this event has topped any previous event ive attended and become a part of, INCLUDING AUM FESTIVAL. AUM festival was AMAZING, but this party was even MORE amazing because of the sound system, because of the youthful energy, because of the midwest family, because of ALL OF US.
just keep having more and more fun, and i notice more and more people are able to dance all the way through the night.
so much effort, cooperation, and collaboration put into this event, i could not have imagined it any other way.
this party had the energy and power of AUM, but so much closer to home. the midwest USA is truly becoming the Psy capitol of the country, and hopefully someday the world (in my opinion). the bonds we are forming, the experiences we are sharing and culminating, the seeds we are planting for the future, are all coming together in great and great magnitudes of synergy as these events progress and compile.
LIFE DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN EARTH DANCE 2007, and im SO GLAD to know that so many of us will be contributing our efforts to future events to create events that will continue to exceed the previous ones. its crazier than ive EVER imagined, and its only getting CRAZIER.
THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!!!
and special props to Damon, not only for dancing for several hours on end, but for being present and coherent for the entire weekend despite the cold and lack of sleep. you are truly a trooper my friend, and i thoroughly enjoyed your effort and enthusiasm on the dancefloor!
and Good Bye to Varun, have safe travels and fun times in India, bring us back some amazing tapestries to buy from you so we can throw an extra-crazy welcome back party when you return!!!
THIS EVENT was FULL of hints and evidence that my life, your life, our lives, are a dream. Life is a complex system generating infinite possibilities, all which are always unfolding right before our eyes. my friends, we are part of something far greater than any individual, any state, and single country, will ever understand. i love everyone for the energy we have shared, information exchanged, and experiences held together.
we are truly a Collective, and i truly look forward to continuing this process of evolution with all of you
THANKS AGAIN!

SyddarthaGuestYes, this was an especially good event… unfortunately I was only able to stay until Saturday afternoon, but the superabundant positivity, warmth, and general good vibes had me more than satisfied. It really is incredible that such beautiful parties are happening right in here the midwest! I certainly never would have expected it.
Billions of stars at night, and billions of fluttery yellow butterflies during the day… just perfect.
Y'all bring the HEART back to the Heartland! π

MachiGuestI just can't describe in words what I experienced over this passed weekend. It's beyond my understanding and I am sure many feel the same way. I LOVE YOU FOLKS!
RobyoParticipantyeah, it kicked ass. And the cold nights kicked our ass! The extra fires Saturday night really helped keep the energy going, but it was still cold.
Saturday day and Sunday day were perfect, tho!
Elandorf is sooo awesome! π
Thanks Trancepsyndicate and Chilluminati!

Abe… you nailed it.

Damon bro, that was so much spirit and love all weekend long esp. on Satruday. Some people were doing magical things to ensure that. Hint: drink less vodka next timeΒ ;D, it keeps you warm but it dulls your senses. And I am really glad to finally meet you in person. It was great dancing next to you (and all of you) through Satruday morning.

And for a moment there I was quite thrilled to hear that it was less spiritual. HEH
And BTW, I hope the Midwest doesn't ever reach the peak of psy capital of the world. That would doom all of the psy music into STOMP music π

PookztAMemberOne complaint: whole event seemed less spiritual for some reason ……
@ Damon: i disagree with the lack of spirituality. i agree at points there were situations where things did not seem as spiritual as normal, but that was on Friday when all the harder Psy was on the main stage, and the ambient was on the big stage. after wandering to the ambient stage, the spirituality came back to me in full force, and i loved it!
i think one other thing that contributed to the momentary non-spiritual vibes was the high attendance from local Illinois students. i encountered so many kids that kept referring to the event as the best “rave” they had been to, and that they had never heard this kind of music before, and etc.
what that says to me is that this event KICKED ASS and BLEW UP. if a high percentage of “ravers” gave Psytrance an ear or two this weekend, then this definitely was spiritual for a lot of people, if not for damon. this event had the energy and spirituality of AUM (most of the time), but so close to home
things are GROWIN!
@ Devious: haha when i say the Psy capitol of the world, i dont necessarily mean the BIGGEST… i just mean that the energy that is culminating in the MidWest is something i feel is RARE in comparison to how much Psy there is in the world. its not just Iowa, its not just Illinois or Wisconsin, its ALL of us. when we come together and contribute everything we got, it becomes more amazing than any one person would ever have anticipated because the collective energy is just MIND BLOWING.
thats what i meant by psy capitol of the world… the people who care the most, do it the best, and have the most fun doing it π im not saying we are currently at this point, but i sure as hell see it growing into that, as more and more people are devoting more and more positive energy into this events, resulting in more and more people receiving that positive energy during the event π Psytrance isnt going to become main stream in the MidWest of course, and it would never be ALL stomp music, but the parties are just going to grow in size, positive attitude, coordination, decoration, and musical talent. the more people hear about what we are doing, the more performers will come for less money from all over the world to come play, dance, and just hang out with all of us!
the future is bright π
THANKS for all the comments!!!

OK please don't take this as a complaint thread but I need to say . . .
Total agreement with you Damon. I do believe if nobody really focuses on the chill space and sets up an altar, and create some kind of sacred space, you don't really have the spiritual vibe created for the event. Cliff did some great stuff on that stage but more people need to get involved.
Devorah and I picked up on the non-spiritual vibe big time and though I had a great time – Dev less so – I really hope somebody gets the personal revelation that we need a sacred space creator and a new deco wizard to take charge of visual and spiritual space at future events. We are beginning to despair that there just aren't enough people with that focus, we may end up only finding it in the Pacific Northwest, and Canadian parties (and Asheville if we can get out there grrrr).
I think the chill stage needed to play CHILL music all theΒ time… I got the sense some dj's considered it just a second stage, not a chill stage, and Saturday early morning the vibes coming from the “chill” stage were really aggressive and hard, not chill in any sense.
But it was a GREAT party musically and the artists were brilliant. Special credit out to the amazing hard work of Tyler and Rob. Thanks to Devin for spinning fire, wonderful. Thanks to Michael for the excellent chill stage scaffolding. Thanks to Cliff for his hard work on deco there.
Who did deco on the main stage? Who brought the lasers and the fog machine at main stage? Those were great. Somebody needs credit.
OK here are my EVIL VIBE details and I would appreciate your help with at least one of these:
– Guy breaking into automobiles and stealing stuff, you SUCK and I hope we got his name so this guy never gets into another event.
– Drunk Eastern European dude, bald or skinhead, sexually harassed one of my friends. Arrived at the party around 11 PM-midnight Saturday night. I would like to know who this is and if I see him again he is going to have a bad thing happen to him, so best that he never attend another of our events. Please private message me if you know who this ass was.
– A few negligent attendees leaving WAY too much trash when they left.
– Too much alcohol at event.

You aren't allowed to complain about events you don't go to.

Those tapestries were abe. The lasers were Pandemic(Tim) and the fog machine was me.
The reason you had harder music at the chill stage later on Saturday morning was because a DJ didn't show up so I rounded up Aktif and Collision so as not to have NO music…

I agree…there is no place for this at our events.Β This was my girlfriends first event, and while she did have a great time, she did not appreciate getting her ass blatantly grabbed by this fu@kin perv (she described him exactly as you just have, so i assume it's the same punk)
Other than that i had a great time…more detailed post later (when i'm not at work)
