Please bring any tapestries for the main stage or small deco items like pillows sheets etc for the chill stage if you can.

We are hoping to make the chill space as comfy as possible so that people who get tired have a place to lie down and relax.

This gathering has the potential to break the record in Iowa (to go later than 9:30 am)if the BURNERS have it their way!! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ™‚ ;D :o.

So the chill room will be a good thing to have.ย  ๐Ÿ˜› 8)

You are more than welcome to tell people you know on there by private messaging but we do not want to post it publicly. Thats a group decision that has already been made by the burners. We appreciate all the help we can get in spreading the word about this gathering.

I for one am really hoping to see the turnout from PSYOWA!! Minneapolis locals could learn a lesson or two from them for sure:)

Please come down and join us in this effort. It means a lot to us and we have gone through a lot for this to happen.

Join us with your OPEN HEARTS and MINDS to experience psychedelia in its full glory right here in Minneapolis for the first time.

We need all psyheads to represent and show locals here how psy gatherings are different than the day to day techno and rave parties.

Please spread the word with like minded friends and family in the area to make this Opening event successful. Thanks in advance for all your help in doing this

Thanks for MINDOUTPYSDE for throwing this great party. The deco was really nice and you guys just keep getting better all the time..whats the secret force behind it? Let it out pls..:) as for the music for the night..we came in when Clandestine was spinning and he really set the tone for the night with some nice tunes.

I actually went to listen to Abraham for his chill set after that ..my music habits are changing..lol..he played some really nice tracks ..great selection..really helped me rejuvanate after the long car drive.

Primordial Ooze, Mubali and the Wichdokta were the highlights for the night to me. each one pushing the envelope harder than the previous one. Very mind draining to me over the night and there came a point after Wichdokta's set when I thought that all the levels of the sonic experience had been met. I was amazed by the theatrics of the wichdokta..seems that he had the whole set planned like a show..very well done though..:)ย  ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ™‚ ;D

Maybe the cold in the room also contributed to the rapid draining of energy in people. so unfortunate that it had to be in the main room..so many people just stayed in the chill room because of the cold..lol..damon must be happy about that..Varun and Damon also kept a great chilll vibe going in the warm room all night..maybe thats another reason there were less people in the main room this time. It was nice to see naveen, ritesh , poornima and the rest of the gang after a long time.

All in all, it was a great party and i hope that more people could have come if it was not so cold outside and inside. Looking forward to the next time. Keep it up people!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ;D ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S – i left a “green” Express wool sweater at the party along with a blue water bottle. If anyone finds them, Please keep them for me till the next one on March 3rd. Thanks in advance

“discourages the last-minute partiers who don't care about the event but just want a place to go get fucked up for the night because they're bored.”

This is the main reason in my opinion. I feel if we give a deal on Saturday only it encourages more people to come Sat only, rather than push themselves to try and make both nights. We then also would have to make a cutoff for the discount, encouraging people to not show up until that cutoff. If people decide that they want to only make Saturday night and buy at the gate they are more inclined to getting lazy at the last minute and not want to drive 2-8 hrs to come at all. If we were to do Sat only pricing it probably would just be a $10 discount (our costs are still the same), if you plan on just making Saturday buying a pre-sale would then be the same price. I'd rather encourage 1 more community interested person to come both nights to get their money's worth than encourage 2 non-community interested people to come for the main night and leave.

Nothing against Friday night (I'm playing :)), but most of our bigger act cost is also on Saturday night. Why should some one get a discount to still see those acts?

I agree w/you Scott. But how many people would drag their asses 4 hrs or more to spend one night in cold and (possible) rain?

I have done that for MAGE and will do it again for any well organized Psy trance event.. ๐Ÿ˜€ :D..To people like me..with no time and money restrictions..
its very hard not to go for a Psytranceย  eventย  within a 5 hr radius that have good people there..Thanks to groups like the Chilluminati that take the time and
effort to do events like these..!! Keep it up people ;D ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ™‚ ;D

Nothing against people who like Dark psyย  ๐Ÿ˜ฎ :o, but I think that the scene today is getting overwhelmed with the whole dark music excess!! >:( >:(
I loved it when music was psychedelic without being overly dark!!..first it crept in for the night time(12-3 am with the explanation that night stands
for darkness and that dawn and sunrise was the contrast where twilight and melodic would come in ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ::)but now some people haveย  started pushing the
concept of the dark morning..soon we will be living in north or the south pole where it is only darkness or sunlight all the time..lol..
where is the balance people??!! enough of this encroachment ๐Ÿ˜€ ;D I want my goa days back where music used to make me think..
and not neccessarliy about evil and dark thoughts during the night.. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜‰

what do other people think?? ๐Ÿ˜›
