Blaize224MemberLast chance to tell me about any mistakes. I'm submitting all the mistakes in a few hours and they will be fixed everywhere but the print version…
If you get the chance, change my name and list me as Koru 😉

Blaize224MemberWhat do you spin Carli? 😉
Moral Support.
😛 Music, duh
Blaize224MemberIncidentally, I know of no places where we could do ED. I will ask around… but the Chicago rave crews burned bridges with several outdoor venues in the past couple years. Setting cars on fire and such…
. . . into camping venue somewhere outside Chicago Derek? The One that Adam and Kevin have been working on. Just a thought, don't really want to do a campout indoors . . .
Blaize224MemberLawrence ~ if I am interested in getting cleared for fire performance can I talk to you about this or is there someone else I should be asking???

Blaize224MemberI also want to say a big thank you to everyone who made an effort to help create this wonderful event. I believe that life is what you make of it, and together we are all making positive changes in so many people's lives. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to contribute to the Chilluminati. I am inspired by the amount of energy and dedication from both Chilluminati members as well as event goers. I think that by encouraging active participation in our events we help to open the world of active living ~ consciously moving your life into positive realities. Last weekend's memories will help to warm my soul for many, many moons.
Congratulations and thank you to all the music performers!! As Derek stated, I think that our events are doing a great job cycling the energy and intensity opposite the rise and fall of the sun. The progression of music throughout the entire event was spot on! It takes a lot of thought out planning and integration to coordinate such a feat, you all rocked it 😉 Derby ~ your music selection is soooo fantastic and weird. Collision, Aktif, Energon, Ascension, Scatter, Ekoplex, Machi, Scott, Optic Mind, Robyo . . . awesome sets all, wish I could have caught everyone!
Vendors ~ it's fantastic to have you guys around. I think that you all really contribute to the 'village' vibe of the event. Thank you guys for helping to create such a wondrous space; full of fashion, beauty, and comfort. Yay for live screen printing!!!! Soo impressed by the skill you guys have developed and made your own. Thank you Smoker's Den for yet another hookalicious event ;D
I think that the dancefloor Sunday morning was my favorite part of the event. So much energy and enthusiasm, I could feel it from across the field. I walked down to the psy stage after a good night's sleep and was like 'YES!!!!!!' This is simply the best way to wake up ever!!!!!!!!
I love you all and thank you for being a part of the evolution we are creating.

Blaize224MemberOh boy, getting everything ready for this weekend 😀 Leaving tomorrow morning and sooooooooooo looking forward to seeing everyone and being outdoors all weekend. Yay!
Blaize224MemberIs there going to be a print version of the workshop line up available to pass out at the gate?? Would be very helpful to get people informed and also help to increase participation in all the wonderful workshops we have to offer.
Location? Same as last year?

Blaize224MemberJust a question / suggestion . . .
Seeing as SEOA might be a bit bigger than in previous years, what is the word on fire performance? The larger festivals I've been to try to keep on top of this seeing as it could be disasterous for a fire to start or someone to get hurt.
I have never seen any regulation of this at past Chilluminati events and I don't know if it is really necessary but . . . Making sure that fire performers know safety regulations isn't really a bad idea in my mind. Some events ask that you go though a 5 minute safety talk before receiving the 'ok' to perform. Some events give out armbands or 'fire tags' to be worn so that if an org sees someone performing, they can be sure that the performer knows safety and has been ok'ed – helping keep performers and community safe.
Any thoughts?
Blaize224MemberI am very excited about doing my workshop!!! I think I'm just excited in general . . . . ohh I love springtime 😀 😀 😀
Blaize224MemberFYI – I don't believe that Jeffz has finalized a line up for workshops yet . . . At some point during Saturday afternoon I will be running a 1/2 hour workshop. I'll see if he can schedule it for before 4pm
Blaize224MemberDerek and I both have Thursday and Friday off . . . plan on being there sometime Thursday afternoon.
Blaize224MemberHey Jeff ~
Have you worked out any kind of schedule yet? I've been working on the structure to my workshop and it's going to focus on awareness of the physical body (balance, stretching, etc…) Maybe it would be a good idea to run my workshop right before the poi and staff workshops. If anyone wants to warm their body up before learning poi/staff they can come to mine and be ready to go 😀

Blaize224Memberwhat is the giving three?
Giving Tree! Its a 'tree' where people can put lil gifts for people. You can come up to and either take a lil gift or give a lil gift or both. Its a really cool concept.
You can put like hemp jewlery, decorated lighters, pictures, books, condoms, I even found Kevin's mom at one once. She wanted to exchange herself for a can of pork 'n beans. Unfortunatly, I only had a can of PorkChop 'O Chunky so she made due.
hmm…how would you guys take it if I hang my demo mixes on that awesome tree?
Sure, anything you with to contribute would be greatly appreciated ;D
Blaize224MemberI agree with you Scott. It would be wonderful if we had the ability to comp anyone who wanted to participate in our events, but the reality of it is that the events cost money and someone has to pay for it.
Hopefully they will understand this, but it might be tough explaining it if they were comped last year . . .
The price of supplies $250
The price of gas money $100
The price of taking days off work $150 loss of wagesThe price of contributing to a beautiful community . . . priceless ;D
