Blaize224MemberThink I've finally recovered from Raindance, now I'm getting pumped for this one. WAHOOOO! Derek and I are going to buy deco supplies this weekend. We're experimenting with new ideas and concepts to tie into the theme. If all goes well . . . attendees should be blown away into a world of flaming remnants and psychedelic melodies . . . This will be the end of the world ladies and gentlemen, and we are all that is left of the human race; society as we know it has been blown to pieces. Let your primal instincts kick in and get down with your bad self ~ it's time to party!
Blaize224MemberWonderful experience, great energy!
There were many, many awesome sets rockin' the hall of fame all night long. Usually I'll find myself in the chill room for some of the harder sets, but I just couldn't pull myself away from the wall of speakers. I had a lot of fun dancing most of the night and didn't take much time to sit and chat~ thanks to all the dj's and dancers for keeping the high energy all through the night. I always love to see other people really let loose on the dance floor ~ It's like seeing their happiness and joy take physical form 😀
I think that the highlight of my night was the combination of listening to, and WATCHING CTRL:ALT:DEL perform 😮 So much of his intensity came from his stage presence, thanks MoP for introducing me to such a great artist.
I was very impressed by how many people helped in set-up and break-down. I've been to events where it takes hours to get this stuff done. With so many hands helping out it only took a fraction of that time. It was great not feeling exhausted by the time the party was just getting started. Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to the alter in the chill room, all of the additions added much character to the piece. Big thanks to Cory for giving us the geode and waterfall to add to our collection!
It was great to see everyone enjoying the atmosphere. I was so caught up in the excitement I barley took any pictures . . . anyone have any to share??

Blaize224MemberThe time is nearing . . . 😮
I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again, mmm everyone's energy blending together stompin' on the dance floor. Love you all! Let's celebrate the coming of Spring and the summer fun to come ~ The thought of a watching a lightening storm through those huge, HUGE windows would be so beautiful . . .

Blaize224MemberWheww . . .
Just got done reading threw the 17 pages of posts for this one. Looks like everyone is itching for a rompin' stompin' good time. I'm definitely ready for another MoP experience myself. Can't wait to see the alter for the main stage 🙂 For chill space how do you guys feel about some mood lighting? We just started experimenting with colored flood lighting in our apartment and I think that we could work this into the chill space nicely. Any thoughts / suggestions / ideas for alternate lighting or deco? I'd love to contribute to creating the visual space, just wondering what you guys had in mind so far.

Blaize224MemberMMMMMMM MMMMM Better!
Just like Campbell's soup, MOP parties keep getting better and better. It was wonderful to spend another cosmic night with everyone. Big thank you to all those involved in making this event happen. Wonderful job done creating a psy space within a sports hall-o-fame, very impressive! It was great to see Androcell live, his music is so inspiring and uplifting. Distant system was also impressive and very emotional, I liked 🙂 Airyck, every time I've heard your sets I wish they wouldn't stop, keep on rockin!!
Thanks again for hoopin' Jeffz, always good to see you~you give the best hugs ;D I liked the tapestries and learned from the string art installation something I've been trying to figure out for some time . . . I am very exited to start work on some 3-d string installations now, yippie! On a side note, we all know that everyone loves blacklight. Sarah and I got to talking about adding some more ambient lighting (colored lighting) to the space instead of just blacklight. For future events, hopefully we can come up with some wicked light installations to give different areas different moods, just a thought.
BTW, did anyone else get interviewed by someone writing for a newspaper in Iowa? She took my picture and if it ends up in some Iowa paper I'd love a copy, can't remember the name of the paper tho ??? Much love to everybody at the event ~ Carli <3

Blaize224MemberRockin' line up, Androcell x2 :o!!!! I love you guys, its on.
Question, are toys permitted in the venue: poi / hoops etc?
Blaize224MemberBOOM!!!
I think my ears have finally recovered from dancing in front of the magnificent sound system in the main room. Hey guys, I'm Carli ~ Derek's partner in crime. I've been following Chilluminati forums for a while but didn't really feel I had much to contribute. After being so involved with this event I felt it was time to join the club 😉
So many thank yous to say and so many hugs to give, I love you guys. The party was truly a beautiful experience for me. It was wonderful to see familiar faces and get back in touch with everyone. Also met some new people that warmed my heart. It was a joy to help set up and decorate, thanks Tyler for the opportunity to let my creative juices flow! The venue has a lot of potential for future events, the sound system was on point for sure.
THANK YOU everybody!!!! I don't think I can sit here and name off everyone's name to thank individually so I'll just shout it out to everyone who was a part of this wonderful event. I love you all and can't wait to reconnect and continue to grow our community here in the Midwest. The energy was flowing all night long and I couldn't help smile as I looked around at all the happy people dancing together ;D
So many wonderful memories . . . more to come! See you all this weekend <3
