(And this reminds me, has anyone played with using an iPad as a controller?)

I use my iPhone at times. It's fun walking in the crowd controlling effects and such.

The downside is you look like you aren't paying any attention to the crowd and texting someone.

I Imagine with an iPad it'd be a bit better, what with the larger screen area and everything.

so.. gnomes of destruction produce their own psytrance? is that why they are listed as live PA?

I've been wondering about this as well… I don't think using Ableton Live and a MIDI controller constitutes a “live” set. Unless you've self-produced every little beat and note you're playing… Just goes to show how ridiculous the idea of live PA has become.
Not that GoD don't bring it home to Momma! Their music is wicked awesome. But is it live, or memorex?

Seriously every time I've seen us listed as Live in the past I've done this:

I recommend Sony MDR7506's. Better bass sound IMO than the Sennheiser HD-280 's. $84.75 from amazon. Super comfy too and they last for friggin ever.

or for about 100 bucks more go for the 7509HD's, slightly bigger driver and a wider frequency range.
