This is my entry for the Florida Citizens for Science Stick Science Contest. Phil Plait is one of the judges and has been promoting the the contest on Bad Astronomy. I don't think this really adheres to the rules but it was fun to do anyway.

Finally, though it is xkcd and not tree lobsters, I feel like this should be included for somewhat obvious reasons.  Disclaimer: this is meant to be in good fun in relation to topics found on this forum and is not meant to get anyone's panties in a twist or be a personal jab, ahem.

Damon, you can see all the tree lobsters you want at treelobsters.com.  There's funnier ones that I forgot about I'm sure.  I'll post them if I come across them again.
