gadgetMemberthanks buddy! I am super glad I get the opportunity! been waiting to play there since sacred earth last summer ๐
gadgetMemberdeep as fuck, very mesmerpsyzing.
gadgetMemberI like the panning effect, and lots of different sounds to listen for in the background ๐
gadgetMemberTHANK YOU!!!!!! for putting me on the lineup. I could not ask for a better way to end the summer!! Who do I talk to to figure out when I get to play?
gadgetMemberand I know I could bring an extra car or 2 from duluth filled with people who would want to see me play there! After producing for 7 years and on live hardware for 2 now, I am ready for a REAL party.
gadgetMembercould I PLEASE bring my synths and play at least a half hour or so? everyone always tells me these parties are booked, then they keep adding people after they tell me ๐ I know I can lay down some deep hippy grooves if you let me!.

gadgetMembercool, I get it ๐ kick patterns is something I have been working on a bit, its hard to get them to sound right with hardware though.
gadgetMemberI think bass and kick under the same compressor works pretty good for psytrance to make the kick and the bass one layer, not always needed, but definitely something worth trying here and there ๐
I really dig this new track you just posted, the up and down sliding synth is cool ! gives the whole track a nice feel.
gadgetMemberthanks! im using the dx200 for my kick in this, so its hard to do a good build up. Otherwise i agree with the screechiness in some parts ๐ and the big synth is too loud over the rest of the track.
gadgetMemberthanks!
gadgetMemberI don't know too much about live ๐ do you run your bass and your kick through the same compressor? sometimes its good to run the snare through there too as long as it doesn't get too muddy. I like my hats as high pitched as I can get them without being irritating, with plenty of 32nd note runs, with a little highpass reverb to get a seperation from the rest of the track.
I am just talking ย of my own preference to maybe give you some ideas ๐
gadgetMemberinteresting sounds…. I dig. what are you using to produce? one thing I thought could use a little work, the drums aside from the kick could have a little more presence or sharpness, or have them seem a little “detached” from the rest of the song if that makes sense (maybe with some alternating panning from ear to ear with the hats) XD something I enjoy in darkpsy is when the hihat hits for a while, and then another higher hat comes in to fill in all the spaces the louder hat doesn't hit, I think I hear it at some parts of your tune, just could be a little louder, my opinion ๐ I really dig the loud screaming synth throughout !
I didn't just want to say “nice track buddy” cause that leads producers no where. but either way…. nice track buddy!
gadgetMembermeh, that is beyond and above what im going to do. I can get some pretty good sounds just editing with the box itself, then I don't even have to touch my computer, except to hit record ๐
