AscensionKeymasterHi Pook,
I am not Pauldo, the mods can ascertain I post from 2 i/p's , one frm work and home.
Just goes to show much time you waste with your ideas in your head and barking down the wrong tree !!
Yeah whoever you are, you are definitely not Pauldo. I can see that ur IP is from chicago 🙂
PookztAMemberCareful, he'll believe anything you tell him!
what's it like to waste precious moments of your life, moments that you will never get back, criticizing me?
i mean, you could be wasting them complementing me, and at least that would be contributing positive energy to this community, but even then, you would be wasting precious seconds of your life by discussing someone as insignificant as me…
…so why continue to waste moments of the one life you have, moments you will never get back, just to insult me?
perhaps you should seize the day Mr. Xeno…
just some advice. wanted to return the favor.

Fair enough?
PookztAMember[edit: convo taken elsewhere. Peace & Love folks, there is nothing to be pissed about with SEOA approaching so fast! Regardless of our differences, we all like good music, and we all get to experience Braincell and Rastaliens, and tons of other great music and art, TOGETHER. I am genuinely excited for this, even though we have our differences.]
By the way, if someone gathers a bunch of ticks and puts them in Brent's sleeping bag, it wasn't me…
😉
edaisGuest…I bet the Chilluminati folks would appreciate it…
…express them to me in an email or via a phone call…Yeah that'd be good.
edaisGuestBy the way, if someone gathers a bunch of ticks and puts them in Brent's sleeping bag, it wasn't me…
Haha I don't think the hippocratic oath includes lyme disease.
AscensionKeymasterThank you guys.
PauldoMemberi am going to try to start posting here less, unless there is an important article I feel compelled to share.
go ahead and celebrate.
Yeah!!! …but unfortunately I don't believe it. Your ego is way too trapped on this forum.
PookztAMemberYeah!!! Â …but unfortunately I don't believe it. Â Your ego is way too trapped on this forum.
I admit, I am definitely addicted to this forum to some degree. if you ask youself why though, there is only one logical answer, because i post in over 20 forums, yet only this one keeps me checking back every few hours, and sometimes even more frequently.
it is the people, if you haven't figured it out. even if you guys and gals don't consider me a good friend, or even a friend, the fact of the matter is that you are the closest things to friends I have, besides some med student friends I have made. the experiences I have shared with many of you, are experiences I will never forget, because those moments were the most important ones of my life. They were moments of shedding past negative memories of my immature highschool behavior, moments of realizing that I had my whole life ahead of me to make up for the ungrateful and ignorant attitude I held for the first 20 years of my life, moments of realizing how lucky we are to exist in this Universe, and moments of inspiration to do something with my life, etc. etc. etc.
Even just sharing the dance floor with many of you is something I will never forget, because while I was having those life-changing, unforgettable experiences, you were the people that were there to assure me that yes, this is really happening, and yes, these events are going to get better and better. The world is full of magic and joy, but if you have no one to share it with, it is pointless. I appreciate all of you, just for being at events I enjoyed, because of the conversations we have shared, the music we have stomped to, the art we have been mesmorized by, the workshops we have given, and more.
I will never forget you folks, no matter how much we might disagree, for this is my family, and this is our tribe.
BOOM,

AlienAudienceMemberI did forget about Trevor, because that was so long ago and it had nothing to do with 'conspiracy theories'. Trevor's resignation came about because he was arguing about my decision to bring Magic Lantern to Iowa because they cost $500, and after giving many reasons as to why I wanted them down there (to help break in Jerry's land with a more old-school, hippie-style visual crew, and other reasons), he still contested it, so when it came down to it, I said “well, I am the one paying for it, so there.” I guess I could have done a better job of trying to convince Trevor to trust me on that one, but I did have a lengthy discussion with him about why I had chosen to bring them down there, before resorting to that move. Had more than one person expressed to me that Magic Lantern was not the right choice, or that their $500 price was not going to be worth it, I probably would have listened. Also, Trevor came to Fractal Fields, and he apologized to me for not trusting in my decision to bring Magic Lantern. He said they were awesome and that he was sorry he had made a fuss about it.
Please provide evidence that my “leadership” with MOP is any more authoritarian than Chris's was, Trevor. You should provide proof and examples of that claim, and give me a chance to explain and defend myself. I honestly feel like I am more of a team player than Chris ever was, because I have used the forums to ask the group for input on events, more and more as time goes on, and I also have used Facebook to conduct group votes to make important decisions regarding the group. I also have used group text messaging to keep MOP members informed on what is up with venues and event planning, and to ask them for opinions on more urgent things that require more immediate responses. Chris never did any of those things, so I would like to know why you are claiming that I am somehow less democratic than Chris was.
I would appreciate it if you would not speak for me, particularly concerning a personal decision I made – what you mention above was relatively insignificant and while it may have played a role as *one* of the deciding factors, there was a lot more involved to what fueled my departure.
I won't go into detail or argue descriptive semantics with you about your behavior and leadership techniques but I will say after a short time following Chris' abrupt decampment the fact that two of our core members decided to resign (and others considered doing so) and leave a group they poured passion and energy into for years (both being around during MOP's inception) speaks volumes for what kinds of things were taking place. The exact details aren't necessary, what is important is that something obviously bothered us enough that we decided the best option for us was to sever membership and outright leave.
A group I once felt extremely comfortable around, enjoyed pouring energy into and being a part of transformed into a source of constant frustration, dissatisfaction and disgruntlement. Eventually, it got to the point where the issues revolving around Mindoutpsyde leaked out and started impeding my day-to-day routine and personal life because I was constantly consumed with worry or concern relating to interpersonal Mindoutpsyde politics and conflict. When you're heavily involved with something and care deeply about the people involved it really hits home when problems arise. In this case, more negative was produced for me than positive and in any situation where the prior is a reality it's certainly best to cut-ties and move on.
So again, I won't provide any examples in particular because it will undoubtedly just prompt some belated justifications and incite more argument that doesn't really matter anymore. The fact that not one, but two members left during this time period is testament enough.
Shit's a bummer, but it's over and I've moved on..with what feels like 1000lb's of weight removed from my shoulders.
PookztAMemberTrevor,
I'm sorry to say this, but you didn't do very much for Mindoutpsyde. Your apparent role in the organization was to do the bare minimum so that you could play at the events. Chris and I used to have extensive conversations about our frustration with your lack of commitment and involvement, yet your desire to play at events and have great time slots at events. You were rarely there to set up or take down, you hosted artists only once or twice if I recall correctly, and your excuse for your lack of involvement was that “you were getting our flyers made for us”, even though Peter Westermann was the one actually making the flyers…
…and of course, you instructed your friend Peter Westermann to stop making us flyers as soon as you resigned from the organization.
So when you show me that you care about helping others through Psytrance events, as opposed to helping yourself, then perhaps we can talk more about Mindoutpsyde.
In the mean time, please stop bringing drama into this forum. This public forum is not the appropriate venue to voice your personal concerns about me. If you have a concern you want to discuss, please call me or email me.
You know how to get a hold of me.
Thanks,
-Abe

lol, I figured this would be your next response. Completely disregarding the bulk of my message, everything of substance, and skipping into something that no longer matters, has not one bit of relevance to the discussion at hand, and includes a number of subtle jabs to my character about something that occurred over a year ago. Completely typical selective reading/responses I've grown numb to reading after seeing your last few months of posts and crusade tirades. You're damn right my involvement was at a minimum, especially toward the ladder end of my involvement. There's a great reason for that, the passion and spark that I once associated with Mindoutpsyde gradually deteriorated and was completely non-existent once you flexed your new-found authority.
This is the absolutely perfect forum to discuss my concerns about what you're saying. Since it directly involves me and personal decisions I made and you are attempting to speak for me I have every right to say that you are completely incorrect and you have no idea what you're talking about. You have no clue why I left Mindoutpsyde..simply because I've never directly explained my reasoning to you. Abe, I will never have even the slightest desire to discuss Mindoutpsyde with you.
And of course, I certainly did tell Peter there was no need for his services to Mindoutpsyde any longer after I resigned. I've has this conversation with you many times but apparently you've conveniently forgotten. I'll refresh your memory since you want to try and warp the truth in an attempt to portray me as spiteful. Peter always had reserves about making flyer art for Mindoutpsyde, partly because he didn't really have the time and partly because we were not able to pay him much compared to his other artistic endeavors, which were much more lucrative. It usually boiled down to me asking nicely and returning with whatever compensation possible. Before he helped out he had never done any flyers, and since our last he hasn't worked on any. Also, he expressed to me numerous times he wasn't comfortable with dealing with you. He told me you were overpowering and flooded his e-mail inbox more than once after not getting a somewhat immediate response about update inquiries. Lastly, Peter was my personal friend I brought on board for a special deal once in a while, I've been close friends with him for nearly half a decade now and we speak weekly about his clothing brand endeavor..so when I left, he explained he had no interest in doing any flyers for Mindoutpsyde – especially since he wasn't too keen on the idea in the first place.
Apparently I was doing something right while I was in Mindoutpsyde because Chris has asked me more than once to start Mindoutpsyde in California with him and Ritesh. Say all you want, I wasn't a good contributer, you and Chris has this conversation about me and that conversation about me…but not one week ago Chris asked me to start Mindoutpsyde with him California. What does that say?
Since we're going balls-to-the-wall public now, let me ask you to stop e-mailing me about stuff you've discovered and writing messages on my facebook about how you don't want to send a friend request in fear of it getting rejected. You're right about that, you would get rejected. I have no interest in being your facebook friend, that's why I removed you.
In the mean time, please stop bringing drama into this forum. This public forum is not the appropriate venue to voice your personal concerns about me. If you have a concern you want to discuss, please call me or email me.^ That's a good one man, it actually made me chuckle when I read it. Get off your high-horse with this self-righteous garbage man. You're not fooling anyone. The irony…oh, the irony.
I don't expect you to respond to any of the points I made here but I'd rather clear things up with whoever reads this.Â
Oh yea, one more again, the irony of you asking me to stop bringing drama to this forum is overwhelmingly overwhelming.
