PookztAMemberTrevor: You are a very intelligent, strong-minded individual. When we lived together for a year, we had both good times and bad times, but during that time, I grew very close to you. I developed a connection with you that I will never forget, a connection I will never be able to ignore. From mixing together, to watching movies, to listening to music and just hanging out, I really appreciated and enjoyed living with you for the most part. You have a lot of wisdom to share with the world, and when you are in a good mood you are a true delight to be around. I remember when we recorded that tag-team morning set before a Sacred Earth one year and burnt copies of it to pass out, and man that was unforgettable. That was the first time I recorded a mix, as we both recorded separate mixes before the tag-mix, so it was very cool to go through the process with you in the basement of our house-apartment on Davenport St. The process of recording that mix with you was so fun, because we were able to spend time for the sole purpose of combining our skills and some quality tracks to make one killer, melodic, uplifting mix. You are a great DJ, with a very unique and powerful track selection, and your intelligence only adds to your high-quality nature. I know we have our differences, but I truly hope we can resolve them someday, because I do appreciate you as a person regardless of whether you believe me or not. Like I said in the text message this morning, I honestly hope that today is the best day of your life to date. It would be cool if it was, because knowing that others have great days makes me happy on the inside. I do not like knowing that people are suffering in this world, especially people I am close to, so I truly do hope that today was the most amazing day of your life to date. If it wasn't, I hope that it was at least a very good day for you. I think it is awesome that you are playing at Sacred Earth, as it has been far too long since I have had the opportunity to listen to some Psytrance tracks that you consider to be important, so I truly hope to catch a big chunk of your set. I am honestly very glad that you are attending Sacred Earth this year, and as I said to someone else, I will literally have a better time at SEOA just being able to share a dance floor with you and look over at you dancing once in a while, even if we don't speak to each other the entire weekend. I respect you and your family, and I am very grateful that your father served our country in the way that he did. Although you and him most likely do not agree with me that this healthcare reform is a good thing, I still do appreciate your opinion and the fact that you care enough about politics and our government to pay attention, stay informed, and share your opinion on the topic with others. Thank you for caring about our country and our government, and for expressing your political views and discussing them with others. I seriously hope we can be friends again someday.
Brent: Wow dude, I have not known you very long, but you are LITERALLY my favorite producer in Iowa right now besides Airyck. To be more specific, you are my favorite Dark Psytrance producer in Iowa, since Airyck makes morning. Nick and Joseph are close behind you in my opinion, but because I have not heard very much of their music, yet I have heard quite a bit of yours, I am able to say that so far you are my favorite Dark Psy producer in Iowa. Your variations between dark sludge style and faster, darker, harder Psy, really is amazing. It is amazing because you can take the same psychedelic, three-dimensional soundscapes you create in your dark, fast, harder tracks, yet turn them into more mellow, goopey, dripping sludge tracks. A great example of this is the track you just made and shared on Facebook, titled “Bump-a-lumpagus”. I really liked the track, which is why I gave you positive feedback on it on facebook. If there were parts I did not like, or that I thought you could improve, I would tell you about them. This talent of producing sludge-trance AND Dark Psytrance is huge, because there are many people in this world that only produce one style of music. For how young you are in terms of production experience, you not only are already making killer Dark Psy, but you are also making killer Dark Sludge and Dark Downtempo music, and it is seriously impressive. I am proud to know you, I am proud to have the opportunity to hear you play as you grow better and better, and I truly am looking forward to you and Aktif laying it down at SEOA. I am proud to have you representing Mindoutpsyde, and I truly appreciate your open-mindedness when it comes to reading the posts I made in the past, and also your honesty in expressing that I could have done a much better job of making those posts so that I did not piss so many people off. You are open-minded, you are honest, and you are raw, and I seriously am proud to know you.
Nick: I really love your high-energy nature. You are one of the wildest, high-energy, fun-loving Psytrancers I know. You stomp like there is no tomorrow, and when you are behind the decks, your energy is unrivaled. You are always going full-throttle, and I would be a liar if I said I didn't love that about you. I also wanted to say that of all the people that have contributed efforts to Mindoutpsyde's events, you have always been there, and I truly appreciate it. You have always been there to help set up and take down before and after events, and this is further testament to how much you care about Mindoutpsyde and the Midwest Psytrance community. Setting up and taking down at events is one of the most crucial aspects of an event, because not only does it take a shit load of work, but it is obviously very important that the event gets set up and decorated in a very professional and artistic way, and that we leave the venue as spotless as possible when we are done to show that we are a respectful and responsible Psytrance community. Although some of our past core members were rarely there to help set up or take down at events, you have ALWAYS been there bro, before, during, and after a majority of Mindoutpsyde's events. This is why I repeatedly reminded Chris when you and him were fighting, that despite our differences, I do acknowledge that you have contributed far more to Mindoutpsyde than most members have. I am proud to be part of the same organization as you, and I look forward to the next time we have the chance to work on another event together.
Phil: I really love your cynical sense of humor. Your sense of semi-serious sarcasm is something that is totally unique to you. I love when you make jokes, because they always make me smile. Even if I don't post to say “lol”, I have chuckled many times to myself after reading some of your humorous posts. It is a great personality trait, and I truly appreciate it. I also wanted to mention that although I have not heard many of your productions, the one song I did hear from you Phil, was one of the most unique morning Psytrance tracks I have ever heard from someone in our Midwest Psytrance community. From the beautiful opera-like vocals in the beginning, to the emotional ending of the track, I can already tell that you are heading in a very awesome direction with your musical productions. Your intelligence shines through your music in a very obvious way, as I could easily tell that you put a lot of thought into your music, including the intro and outro that would rarely be heard if the song were to be mixed into a set, which many producers choose to half-ass in my opinion. I have only heard one song from you so I can't say too much more about your skills yet, but I just wanted to tell you that I am honestly very impressed so far. Keep up the great work.
Machi: I love how you stand up for your spiritual beliefs, while still maintaining a respectful, mature, and often humorous tone. You are not afraid to share your spirituality with others, even in the face of people that may judge you for it, and your kindness and respectful nature radiates from you like an aura. As I said before, you are going to make one helluva father.
Xeno/Basilisk: I don't know you very well, but I do know that you are very intelligent. Your willingness to share what you know with others, on topics such as global warming and biology, is truly awesome to me. Even if we don't agree on many things, I truly appreciate your presence in this forum, because you bring valuable information and lots of rationality. Thanks for sharing whatever information you have with this forum.
Pauldo: I know we are not on the best of terms, but you are one of the coolest Psytrancers I know. I know you are an older guy, but you make it very obvious that age does not mean shit. Your energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, has greatly enriched many Psytrance events I have had the opportunity to be a part of. From your beautiful Medussa to your Alien-birth on New Years Eve a few years ago, I can honestly say that your artistic skills have changed my life. You are such a unique and amazing individual, it really sucks that you no longer live in the Midwest. Still though, the fact that you are coming to Sacred Earth is outstanding, and I really look forward to sharing the dance floor with you, even if we don't say a single word to each other the entire weekend.
Emily: Your sense of humor and your personality is awesome. Never in my life have I met a girl that truly enjoys dark Psytrance and gets down with World of Warcraft. I once was addicted to Star Craft and Diablo II, so I know where you are coming from in a gamer's sense. The fact that you are traveling all the way to the Midwest to stomp with us is very exciting to me, and we are very lucky to have your humor and presence in this forum, and at Sacred Earth. Can't wait to see you!
Nod: I don't know you very well either, but I did witness a portion of one of your downtempo sets once. I love your dubby style of downtempo, because it doesn't feel like cafe chill dub music, like much dub tends to be like. Instead, you play dubby tracks that still maintain a tribal and almost spiritual feel. I say almost, because the term 'spiritual' is often attacked in this forum, but I can honestly say that some of the tracks I have heard you play have made me feel at peace. I heard some of your set at one of our Mindoutpsyde events long ago I believe, and also some of your set at Gemini a few years ago I believe. I hope to have the chance to hear you play again someday in the future.
Kevin: You are such an awesome asset to the Midwest Psytrance community. Not just because you are an Engineer, not just because you use lots of your free time to help organize and enrich Psytrance events here in the Midwest, and not just because you are already producing amazing music and sounds despite the fact that you have been attending events for fewer years than many DJs. You are a very intelligent person with a lot to offer this world, so thank you for sharing yourself, your time, and your efforts, with the Midwest Psytrance community.
Scott & Igor: I don't like you guys. haha, just kidding of course! the events you have helped organize, and the music you produce, has been nothing short of life-changing. Yes, it is true that even mosquito bites are life-changing, but that is not the kind of life-changing I am referring to. I would not be as happy, as healthy, nor as successful as I am today, if it weren't for your efforts with Chilluminati, Mindoutpsyde, and the Midwest Community in general. Thank you so so SO much, for everything you have done, are doing, and will do. I am extremely proud to know you both. (and expect some major hugs from me at SEOA, because the Midwest having the opportunity to experience BrainCell and Rastaliens is something I have dreamed of for the last few years.)Robyo: You rock brother. Your open-mind, your rationality, your wisdom on a variety of topics, is truly amazing. Your hand-drumming skills, your chilled and easy-going personality, and your goa and downtempo DJ sets are all truly amazing. Your posts here are very informative, and I have learned something new from them on many occasions. You are invaluable sir, and I am extremely glad that you continue to be present in this forum.
Joseph: You are new here bro, but I love you just the same. You are funny, you are intelligent, you are rational and logical, and you are open-minded. I love it. You are also extremely talented, not only with your digital artistic abilities, but also your musical abilities. Also, you built your own house, which makes me feel completely inferior to you. Hopefully someday I will get to learn more of what you know, because you are a very intriguing and awesome individual. Thanks for joining this forum, and thanks for all your help with Mindoutpsyde.
Eric: Brother, the very fact that I have been lucky enough to witness your visuals not only in California, but also in the Midwest, is truly amazing. I am very lucky to know such a talented and creative male. We are so lucky that you will be joining us for Sacred Earth, and I promise you that I am more excited for Sacred Earth because you will be there. I hope to travel to Arizona someday to see what your home turf is like, but in the mean time, thank you for being such a devoted and motivated Psytrancer that you have travelled close enough to me that we have been able to meet, hang out, and party, on more than one occasion. Thanks also for your help with Mindoutpsyde's Spring Equinox, not only for the visuals, but also for helping set up for the event! I am very proud to know you sir.
Justin: I don't know you very well either, but I don't think I need to tell you again how life-changing your Weather Corporation Winter album has been for me. I literally have listened to the entire thing, every song, at least 20 times, but probably much more. I just wanted to play it safe with that number, but I wouldn't be surprised if the real count was closer to 50 complete album listens. Thanks also for sharing the articles and information that you have with me, for your open-mindedness and knowledge is very much appreciated. Thanks for posting your music in the Chilluminati and Mindoutpsyde forums for all to hear.
Leo: You are amazing. I cannot believe you are already producing quality downtempo music for how recently you joined our community. On top of that, your artistic abilities are very unique. I have really enjoyed looking at your artwork at events such as Exopsytosis, and I truly appreciate the mushroom-inspired drawing that you made for me once. Also, the fact that you have contributed to workshops at Chilluminati events is very awesome, and further proof of what kind of person you are, and how you truly have a desire to enhance the lives of others. Thank you for being you, and thank you for sticking up for me when others have accused me of having some kind of mental disease. I appreciate you.
Damon: You are so awesome, so Polish, and so talented as a downtempo DJ. When it comes to Chill music, you are a professional, hands down. I have been thoroughly ROCKED by many of your sets, but the one that topped it all for me was your breaks set at Earth Dance or Sacred Earth one year. I will never forget that experience, as that was by far the best breaks / dubstep set I have ever heard so far in my life. Your shy smile, your short stature, your bald head, and your amazing personality, are things that I not only miss here in the Midwest, but desire to have closer to home. There is no one quite like you in this world, and the very fact that on top of all your talents, you now are brewing Chillumafia BEER, is testament to that statement. I miss you brother, and I hope someday we can share a dance floor once again.
Peace and Best Wishes to all of you, and to all the organisms, and the atoms that comprise them, in our vast Universe / Multiverse.
-Abe
P.S. – I know I didn't cover all the members of this forum, but I tried to cover the more active ones, and the ones that have been directing comments my way over the last few months.
[edit: added sections about Brent and Trevor, and additional comments about Nick and Phil]
edaisGuestI don't want to hear good things from you about anyone, including myself.
I am sorry I suggested you seek therapy. I'm sorry I offended you.
Now you should apologize for being such a pompous ass, especially to me, Basilisk, and Nick (and anyone else who deserves it).
That is what I want.
PauldoMemberThe nice Abe DOES still exist…or is it a trick of some kind???
edaisGuestI don't want to hear good things from you about anyone, including myself.
But thank you all the same.
PookztAMemberBut thank you all the same.
you are welcome sir

WEEEEEEEEEE
LET'S ALL HUG NOW.

HARDKORNATEMemberHow come you have to fight with Abe to get nice things said about you?
Again, WTF is going on around here? When did this place become Jr. High?
edaisGuestThanks for just popping up all of a sudden and trivializing everything. I really appreciate how you can take the apparent tension as a sign that we're all being childish, even though you haven't been a part of anything that is causing us to be so apt to fight with Abe.

well, I have been here all the time and think that whatever your reasons are, Phillo, some stuff you have been posting here lately isn't serving any purpose, just the opposite.
edaisGuestMachi, shit you post sometimes is the same way. In fact, everyone's posts are from time to time. Abe crossed the line though, so I crossed it back. I don't give a shit if you think it serves a purpose or not. I do what I want.
nodsamadhiMemberI do what I want.
edaisGuestHaha. Right on the mark.
MachiGuestMachi, shit you post sometimes is the same way.
really? what are you exactly referring to?
