I had such an amazing time this weekend and was so happy to get to spend it with some of my closest friends and most of my beautiful psy family. The atmosphere, the energy, the people at sacred earth were amazing and im so glad to be a part of this big family. I don't think I could ask for a better birthday, I danced my heart out until the dancefloor was nearly empty and I couldn't dance any longer sunday morning.  Ooze, GoD, and Mubali's sets were very powerful for me.

I'm glad to have brought along 7 campout virgins who all had an amazing time.  They will all be coming back for more im sure :).  I know we might make it to Trancendental Excursion now since they loved it so much :).

Also Tina and Mason who drove me there, drove home for Tina's graduation and drove back saturday night to surprise me for my birthday…  Thats fucking hardcore, I love you guys.  Also I finally found someone with the same birthday as me which i've never known anyone with the same birthday which is fucking awesome Devin(from Iowa).  Glad to put names to some of the faces I have seen around forever but been to shy to introduce myself.

I had a fucking awesome time. I enjoyed all the music I heard, but I think Anni and I's favorite set for the weekend was Derby. I guess you can't take the old skool out of the old skool…

That party was pure bliss 😀  From the music to the weather to the people, everything was stellar. I want to thank everyone who put any work into this party, bc it was enjoyed by many. It was great to finally meet some new people and put names to faces 8) My fav set of the weekend might have to be the 5 hour iowa beatdown.. but Dragon comes in a close second. Scott and Damon's set in the morning was also superb. And the icing on the psychedellic cake had to be Airyck. Love it more and more every time man 😉 Thanks to Nick and Rick for putting up with me all weekend.
Thanks to Adam for making fun of people with me all night. Shit never gets old
Thank you Hurt for being yourself and flying that freak flag.
Thanks to all the dj's and producers who came from all over to make this one of the best parties I have had to good graces of attending.  ;D

Amazing kick off to the festy season.  Music was fantastic all around, however, sat night took the cake for me.  Love the psyowa invasion, different styles, yet blend together so well.  Mubali was as fantastic as always, and Mist was a blaaaaaast…so much fun.  Perfect transition outta mubali and into the morning.  Don't htink i've seen it done better.

Agent Hurt: I'll never get sick of geeking out w/ you b/t ridiculous humor and video games 🙂
Psyowa boys: Had a great time kicking it w/ each of you.  Your set was a pleasure as well.
Katy: allllllways a pleasure…the laughter is never in short supply
Derek (Energon): I really enjoyed our converstation during Great Mundane down by the chill stage.

I know there are people i'm missing, but it would take far too long to list all the great people involved in my fun.  See some of you at Gemini, and the rest…? (can't make July 4th… :-[ )

    Take it light,
    Adam

If anything the amazing reviews tell me the community WORKS! Several of us traditional Chilluminati were not there and it was one of the best events ever! It's the IDEA of psytrance and Chilluminati and Audiognomes and Mindoutpsyde that carries us on regardless of who the people are on the ground.

All Hail Tyler and Kaiser for the huge amount of work they put into this, All Hail the amazing volunteers especially Pauldo, Energon and Carli, all the people who sweat blood to make this happen!!

It's the VISION stupid! Carry on! The small clique of doomsayers and whiners out there were proven dead wrong once again! Bwa ha ha ha

I still haven;'t slept much since we got back, so i apologize in advance for being scatter brained– but yes, this event was especially good.

Many MANY thanks to Justin for all of his hard work and early arrival at the venue.  Not sure if everyone really understands his role with this event, but believe me — without him, we probably wouldn't have had SEOA at all.

Thanks also to Kaiser for all of his hard work in the planning.  And huge thanks to Erik for always volunteering and being available for anything we need, drop of the hat.

Lastly, I wouldn't have been able to take care of my obligations I had prior to without Ascension's help.  Kevin, you're definitely a winning fail.  Thank you.

Now onto the event itself —

it was purely magical.  It was absolutely great being able to connect with everyone again.  I hope that the turnout for this event is a marker for the things to come this year.

The deco on both stages was fantastic — huge props to everyone for their contributions.  The sound was equally amazing.  Hard to believe that a system as compact as the one we used at the trance stage is as loud and as clear as it is.

The artists I caught were also fantastic.  I especially enjoyed Mubali, Mist, Dragon, Psyowa (including Dakota) , PsychoHazzard, Machi, and Derby.

The visuals were also great.  Stoptime341 put on a great set, as did Mason —and PakaPaka was just insane!  Some of their visuals were probably the most off the wall shit I have ever seen.  I spent a good hour or so in one place just mesmerized by it.  I was absolutely blown away.  THANK YOU.

Ocular Dreams put on one hell of a laser show… And you were right about moving the laser to the chill stage for Saturday.  The setup at the chill stage was completely surreal — i absolutely loved the laser effects combined with that atmosphere.

The Smoker's Den also did a fantastic job — they supplied not only the vending, but also a slew of volunteers that helped us all out throughout the weekend.  Always a pleasure working with those guys.

Probably one of my favorite highlights was seeing Skroller doing a kegstand with a box of Franzia.  You made me proud.  🙂

All in all, I have to say that working through with this event from start to finish was a lot of work– at the beginning i was a little intimidated, in the middle of it, I was stressed out, and at the end i was a little anxious — but when it actually hit and we got it going Friday, and as the event was progressing throughout the weekend i felt an overwhelming feeling of relief as all of the familiar faces came pouring in and everyone shared with me their thoughts on the the setup, operation, and most importantly the COMMUNITY.

It was a little disappointing that some of the other Chillum members weren't there with us, but all of the fresh new faces and all of the familiars definitely made up for that.  We had a very strong number of newbies from Central Illinois who will likely be back for everything we do in the future.

If i have left anyone out of my thanks or acknowledgements, let me know.  I want to make sure that everyone gets credit when I move the event information to the archive.

Thank you again — to EVERYONE — for being respectful, for helping with the cleanup, for supporting what we do with an unparalleled level of enthusiasm that really sets us apart from other communities.

Last but not least, huge thanks to Marv at NCN for all of his hard work and for supporting what we do.  We'll be back in September for EarthDance!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely great event.  Favorite set: Hands down, Aligning Minds.  Beautiful, trancey, dancey, healing sunrise chill set.  Really awesome to dance to a loud psychill set at sunrise for once as opposed to psytrance.  Also, Energon put on a great set mainstage that I don't think many people heard (tracklist please 😉 ).  The Iowa Invasion was epic, and Mist was insane.  Yay!

Thanks to Tyler and Scott; Derek, Carli, and Alison for the amazing looking chill stage; Paka Paka (I actually paid attention to the visuals at this party!); The Smoker's Den; Mubali for talking so much all the time; Damon for being himself; and Ben and Andy for providing their mom.

Did anyone else think it was cool that the entire chill stage was pulsating really loud bass throughout the campgrounds during Aligning Minds?  It was like we were massaging/messaging nature with bass…sending vibrations into the ground, the trees, the people, everything.  Like we were saying, “thanks for the beautiful day” and communicating it with the music.

    See everyone in Iowa!

Forgot to mention this and i wanted to make a special point to.  PakaPaka's visuals were FANTASTIC.  Amazing selection and diversity.  I hope we can get him around more often.

So, for the first time ever I feel like I am not trying desperately to recover, this was one of those events that I can't even figure the words out.
You are all such amazing people with such amazing thoughts and hearts, thanks for sharing such wonderful moments with me, I could grill out with all you kids again and again! That was so much fun for me.
And huuuuuuge thanks to Darek and Carli, you are both so creative and fun to work with, you have re-inspired me in so many ways.
Love to all who camped in Audiognomes circle, you guys are all so much fun! We need more fires like that and more whacked out grilling “and by whacked” you know what I mean, Sebreena I am going to kidnap you along with Lev and Val and live deep in the woods with you!
Huuuge thanks for Lev allowing us the honor of hearing his music on such short notice, thanks for saving the moment <3
Damon… “tackle hug” you rock! “

    Igor I have your knife!

Someone I have your camera, you should send me a full description of it so I can find the rightful owner.
Eugene, if you read the forums, it was really nice to meet you, I am so sorry you had to leave, I think we should build a jail cell for the friends who cause issues, it wasn't your fault, hope to meet you again. 🙂
Ben and Ando….. words will never descibe how much I love you two!
Phil…. and Anita…. you two are awesome people, I like you both a whole bunch.
James…. OMG…. thanks for the CD, so glad you are a friend!

Tyler… DOOOOOOOD. I have never been that fracking relaxed while working, thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this,  you are quite an amazing person.

To Fixer and Devorah, your ideals bloom, thank you for the creation.
