    Movies!

I just rewatched The Cell last night.  I think it's a really underrated film.  It's like Silence of the Lambs mixed with a hint of Inception and a Salvador Dali painting.

My other netflix to watch: The Soloist, and Pi

Recent buys: Batman Begins, Wedding Crashers, The Pursuit of Happiness, The Shawshank Redemption (all in the $5 bin at Walmart!), as well as Boston Legal season 2, and It's Always Sunny season 4.  😉

Also went to the theater for Due Date the other night.  It was really entertaining.  Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galafanakis (who's freaking hilarious in general) play really well off each other.  The plot and creativity were a little lacking though.

Sin Nombre is amazing for a “coming of age” type thing.

The HorsemAn is awesome for a “revenge flick”.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World was f*&in AWESOME! for a “teen dramady”. Seriously, the cover and previews were aweful, the Director though! Edgar Wright: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, (just informed) the Don't trailer in between the Grindhouse Movies!

but I'm a sucker for stylistic productions… hence why I've always like modern psy compared to the classics.

Machete is more fun than Predators.

The Good The Bad The Weird would probably be better sober. (10.5% beers are like illusions, I just don't understand)

so based on this, what should I rent tonight? I've seen just about everything. lol.

you have to register but its probably worth it for free passes to see tron in the IMAX!!!

I would do it if my city was on the list  >:(

you do have to get there super early at these things… at least an hour if you want a good seat.

30 Days of Night #2…pretty frickin' bloody.  Some pretty good head shots and squished brains, almost a 'puker when the human FBI guy had to first feed off another human in order to be made a vampire.  Jack Ass #2 up next.

It was an Adrien Brody weekend:

AB starring in The Pianist, as a talented pianist and his survival in the Warsaw Jewish ghetto during WWII.  Another brutal reminder of how Jewish people have been treated.  Thought AB played an excellent role.

Then “The Thin Red Line”…AB just had a small supporting part in this one.  Never seen it before end to end, just parts.  Nick Nolte played an excellent insane but genius colonel during the battle for Guadalcanal.  War is brutal!

I've yet to see The Thin Red Line, but The Pianist is great. Based on a true story, as I recall.

Adrien Brody is also in Predators, which is pretty awesome. Definitely a better sequel then any of the others thus far.
He's also in Splice, which isn't so good, but kind of fun to watch in a masochistic way.
