i would assume that we shall all be in a circle for the prayer for peace and aum? so then the symbolic altar items should be in the center? and it would be removed as soon as the fifteen minutes are up…

this will be at 6 pm nate… therefore, it will still be daylight and nothing will glow… also, it would pollute the water we would use as a symbol to represent the whole of the earth's water, which is exactly what we are doing the aum for – to purify of pollutants… right?

if anyone has a kiddie pool let us know, as it will determine which kind of candles i bring – difference being long taper candles or floating tea light candles…

also, if anyone wants to bring a bunch of flowers to add to the petals that would be cool… i will buy some and bring some, but flowers are rather expensive and i do not have a flower bed in my nomadic state a.t.m… good higher vibration healing colors are white, blue, purple and maybe a little pink…

this is totally irrelevant to your conversation with Nate, but i have never seen you dance to anything, including chill, including melodic morning psy, including dark psy.

Plus, I'm very picky about the music. Especially dancefloor orientated stuff. I said so many times that most of the new trance doesn't do anything to me unless it's neo goa/progressive but this stuff is almost nonexistent@psyparties around here for various reasons. Bring more djs like Meta or artists like Ananda Shake – you'll see me on the dancefloor screaming like 15 years old girl@Justn Timberlake concert. Or just let Varun or me spin some tunes 🙂

I could also bitch about you guys not hanging out in chill areas where you can also hear excellent music 🙂

#1 I am the MINDOUTPSYDE Certified Chill MASTER. no one in Iowa can chill like i do. Hopefully you will be present for my chill slot at Earth Dance. 🙂

#2 I would not be as aware, appreciative, or as enthusiastic about LIFE had it not been for Psytrance's intervention in my immature attitude. I was at a very bad point in my life, and Psytrance helped me turn it all around. Not just the music, but the people that follow the music, like all of you guys. For this reason, I have developed a fascination and obsession that will not die. I exercise everyday, I study everyday, I say thank you to our Creator everyday, and had it not been for Psytrance, i most surely would not be doing all of these things every single day. These reasons alone are reasons enough to NEVER STOP DANCING. I will dance until my joints break. I have one body, one suit-of-armor for my conscious experience, and I refuse to sit by and simply listen to music that deserves so much more. I will not stop Damon… and i will repeat this to you in 10 years, while I am STILL in school, dancing harder than ever! 🙂

To each their own. You do not have to dance, many choose not too 🙂

The term Prayer here is certainly not synonymous with the term Worship. I do not worship anything. But I do pray, just as others meditate, just as others apply gratitude.

The prayer for peace is something you should participate in Nate. Its not about you or me, or achieving enlightenment or benefiting anyone person. It is simply a coming together of minds, of spirits, to direct our attention and focus our energy in a positive direction. Even if you sit there and think about music, that is still beneficial in the sense that you would be committing your silence and meditative thoughts towards the groups.

Trust me man, I am not going to be “praying” for ANYTHING at Earth Dance… but during the Prayer for Peace i certainly will be MEDITATING / FOCUSING MY THOUGHTS on those of gratitude and thanks. For 15 minutes i am going to think nothing but Thanks. Thanks for Earth Dance. Thanks for the people. Thanks for the water and the air… and most importantly, THANKS FOR PSYTRANCE! Think of what your life would be without these people or the music. That fact alone is enough that you should at least say thanks with us for 15 minutes, even if you feel you must say thanks to the speakers. Rather, i would prefer to say thanks to the Universe for providing us with ears AND speakers (and everything else). The power of the mind is amazing, and when one is in a gratuitous state of mind, they take more from life, take more from the music, take more from their surrounding atmosphere, than one who is simply focused on speakers and music.
