esmokahParticipantsometimes you have to watch what you say, not so much protect your own interests, but to protect the interests of the organization that allows you to have a ton of fun! it's like in school where one kid will say/do something and it ruins it for the rest of the class.
esmokahParticipantMusic was the first spiritual experience of my life. Poi was the second. As I weave a web that becomes more and more complex the thoughts in my head also become more complex. If you watch someone in trance with poi you can see their soul. I get to a point that I cannot describe to people in english words, as I don't think they exist. I know what I've experienced, and am comforted that I can get to that same place without the need of any other medium. Life may be meaningless to some. I put meaning into my life and the poi and music that I spin.
You can choose to make the most/least of your meaningful/less of your own life. Let others make the most/least with theirs. People don't take well to criticism about their own beliefs, regardless of scientific fact or ancient scriptures.
When I die I may go to heaven (or hell, if the devil needs an errand boy), I may rot in the ground, or something else may happen that no one knows about. I think I will be pleasantly surprised regardless. i just hope there's pie cause i got the munchies 🙂
edaisGuestFor the record, I wasn't talking about spirtuality a few posts back, I being a little more generalized than that.
meghettiParticipantNo offense, but am I the only one that gets sick of hearing “any answer is the right answer” or “it's just a matter of opinion” or “nobody's right or wrong, they're just different.” I think this shit is used far to often as a scapegoat for not making any sound judgment on anything, no matter how important it is.
haha oh my. well. i really do feel like i'm being honest when i say that. i just recognize that i lack many answers to many things. many people are so stubborn as to not consider other alternatives to their beliefs, as i'm sure you know… i'm sort of the opposite. i think of the world as endless possibilities.
