Obviously, you can't believe everything you see on the internet (no, really!). Especially when it's a supercharged artistic statement like Zeitgeist (or Esoteric Agenda, another great source of info). However, if you do your own research too, you can gleam some of the truth that's out there. You certainly won't find it in the corporate-controlled mainstream media.

Are you saying you don't like documentaries because they make you think in a manner of which you are unaccustomed? I also don't know anyone who believes Zeitgeist to be absolute fact.

I think it's good to see a lot of the info brought together, even if it is slanted in the directors view. ALL ART IS SLANTED. There's much I don't agree with in the first one, but the information is intriguing. I much prefer the Addendum because it explains so much of the federal reserve and the fractional reserve banking system. It also offers some good solutions, (even if they are also problematic). Not to mention the production value is excellent for a dude making them on his own at home.

There's a difference between getting you to think in a different way and trying to convince you of something through a biased point of view.

I'm not arguing any specific points in the movie, just movies like this in general. A sheet of actual facts and proven solutions would be a much better medium to read on this subject. There are just better ways to get real information is what I'm trying to say.

Sadly there are PLENTY of people who take the information in this movie as actual fact (i've discussed this movie on other forums before- it's pretty shocking to read what some people believe). Don't you think that was the movie creator's intent anyway?

Yes, Robyo ..I am not going to deny that my little abridged synopsis of thoughts regarding these type of presentations does vaguely ring familiar for a lot of the past. My focal complaint with these films is that there is a large percentage of the viewers who choose not to look any further than Zeitgeist etc for their answers..they receive and process everything @ face value without doing their own research into the matters in question. In my opinion, that is dangerous…to the truth and to the allocation of information. Under heavy scrutiny one can find many errors and inaccuracies in what's being said in most of the aforementioned films..and it's often done on intentionally. You say, isn't all art slanted? Well yes, but when you slant something to further your machination agenda that's a different story entirely. You take your pick of which one you want me to focus on and I'll be more than happy to present the fallacies I have found after watching.
