Ursa MajorMemberCan anyone tell me who was djing at about 2am friday night, in the chill tent? He had the nature scene in the background, ant's, bee's etc…. and handed out the whiskey. Was that the professor?
Ursa MajorMemberI thought the deco was a bit weak with the main stage untill the MOP guys added their stuff Sat eve. I know Energon had planned for a outdoor set up, so chalk it up to the weather and not planning or lack of effort. With so many stark white walls in the building, fully deco'ing it out would have taken alot of stuff… still it was a little… meh… No ones fault really just the fact of the situation.
We're certainly open to constructive criticism. Any comments about what people liked / didn't like / would like to see more / less of are certainly appreciated. But yea… we weren't planning on having to cover an airplane hangar full of unfinished walls 🙂
I would agree completely, however, I cant say it was exactly weak at first, but things definitely took off saturday night. The tapestry and everything definitely helped give an enclosed feel to the place which I think added to the intensity.
Knowing now that I could've brought some deco definitely changes things for the future. I'll definitely help to exploit the experience,.
Massive props to PakaPaka, with the youtube uploads, nearly inducing a flashback,. But it an excellent way. It was great getting to sit around the fire in the mornings and late hours and chill with many of the dj's, especially ixnee, and dj mystik (erik) I wish I could've sat down with more of you to get to know you guys more but that will grow in time.
ps; I'm only hoping that someone recorded Kilowatts's set and if so can someone send it too me, that set blew my already fried mind.
Ursa MajorMemberI couldn't agree more, robert rich shattered my mind. I walked into the beginning of his set on accident, then I asked someone next to me who it was and they were like 'my friend this is robert rich' and I sat down and melted into a puddle.
Besides that their were a bunch of great sets from; androcell intoxicating you with his funky atmospheric funkyness, to killowats who I couldn't stop enjoying. Lots of other people blew me away aswell, like the greatmundane and dj mystik. This being my first chilluminati experience I have to say it was truly one of the most riveting experiences I've had in awhile.
it's great to be able to go to festivals like this, and know you're dealing with good people, not have to worry bout lame shit happening. After friday night I knew I was in the right place submerged in the right vibes. I have alot of pictures, but I'm sure they wont all turn out. If someone can point me to someone to upload them to , to share on the website that would be excellent.
For what its worth I thank all the dj's and everyone who put this party on, I'll be back fo sho.

Ursa MajorMemberboooooooosh!
Just gotta get through a day of work and a few hours of driving. Also wont' be arriving till midnight-ish, but that's what headlamps are for 🙂
I'm in the same position, I hope I don't miss any good dj's, but then again looking at the lineup the whole weekend looks like itll be packed with good artist.
Is there any way to see the actually order lineup? To see who plays when? Hopefully I arrive right when Daksinamurti or rob rich are deep in their sets.

Ursa MajorMemberI see gates open at noon, but do they close? I won't be able to arrive untill late friday evening, around midnight. So I'm wondering if this would be a problem.

Ursa MajorMemberThis will be my first EarthDance, and first chilluminati party infact. I've been a producer and dj of psy, ambient & psybient for along time. Been to a bunch of audiognomes parties before, just never indulged myself in the chilluminati scene,. But that is all to change ever so soon. I'll be there next weekend for sure, I cant wait the line up of dj's looks like a hella good time. Very stoked for shiva space technology, :O.
