A few of our guests are no longer able to make it. These include

Bird of Prey – who has some other obligation he can not escape from

well folks here's the skinny on the new venue. Area 101 is a super old school spot with the SF trance scene. Its undergone some modernization and updates over the years but its been the location of many historic Nor.Cal trance events.

It however is considerably smaller than Belden. In the coming weeks (there will be a announcement) Gemini goers will be required to either purchase a pre-sale or RSVP. Area 101 max's out at 400. Last year at Gemini we had around 620.
Parking is also somewhat restrictive at Area 101. Pack smartly. (though since everyone on this board should be flying in, this wont be a problem) Parking shuttles will in effect. You will need to park at another location and be brought in. (does give it kinda a old school underground vibe tho)

This is all not fully set in stone yet.We are looking at another few locations that might be a bit more ideal, but as of now Area 101 is plan B, and its locked down.

As for Belden, Rich is being kind when he says they asked for double the price. Its actually closer to triple what we payed last year. Gemini is not the only event to give Belden the middle finger, as several others have canceled or are moving too. The economy it seems has caused people to become very greedy this year. Hopefully Belden will see the light when they realize they screwed themselves out of most of the summers business and come to their senses next year.
In the meantime tho, The show must go on, and by damn come hell or high water it will

Jay is a electronic music producer from the south(wild) Black-Forrest
in Germany. Together with his friend Ralph(Braincell/Solarspectrum)
started the psychedelic trance project Rastaliens about more then 10
years ago… over the years of playing in clubs and festivals
worldwide Rastaliens got well known by many people for psytrance with
a funny unique style. Southwild is the new project from Jay witch
could be named as kind of funky morning psy,but generally you will not
be able to put it in a “style” box. Music to have fun and make the
body shake.
