Excellent idea, perhaps put together a brief pamphlet with info and do panel discussion of some sort, expand on the idea of changing the status quo of crippled music distribution channels.

Any interest in a talk on the Creative Commons, free music, netlabels, and the psytrance industry? Not sure if I could get something together in time but if there's an interest and I have time I might have a stab at it…

Love it!  Could definitely be a forum for discussion.  I'll put you down , I can help moderate if you like to when it moves to discussion.

    Ok, so far:

Harm Reduction / Legal Rights – Pauldo, Leo, Jeffz
Music Production – Mubali, Kaiser, SOT, Basilisk, etc
Creative Commons / Net – Basilisk

Need some movement and yoga for sure, thought that was great last time. Don't wanna name and names or anything but definately open to repeat teachers *winkwink*

Some poi would be good too or something like that.

Like the ideas so far, keep em coming!!

I'd definitely be interested in doing a 1/2 hour stretch and body movement workshop ~ anyone else interested in helping? Last year Machi talked about breathing which rocked.

I would like to head up a open panel discussion and workshop about DJing.  I will cover pretty much everything that I know how to do, how I do it and we will have anyone else who wants to share tips and tricks do so.  This will really help solidify how the Midwest represents itself through our DJ's.  I believe this is OUR goal as a community as well.  All DJ's are encouraged to be there, you WILL learn a lot  ;D  8) ;D!

Likewise all skilled DJ's who have some trade secrets to share are highly encouraged to show what they know, how you learned it and exactly how you implement it to perfection.

This will be so much fun…

Can ya please pencil this in Jeff?!  Anyone who has questions or anything please do not hesitate to PM me.

Together we will make ourselves veeeeery dangerous people behind the decks  ;D.

We should dedicate an hour to the art of amazing DJing according to Agent Hurt.

    Here's the outline:

Setup: Make sure Pioneer CDJ 800s are present
Step 1: Drink as much Crown Royal as you can before your set
Setup 2: Make sure you have enough Crown Royal with you behind the decks to keep drinking while DJing
Step 2: Play a set that completely wrecks people's faces while obliterated
Step 3: Somehow stay up all night in this state despite having narcolepsy
    Step 4: Profit

    Thoughts?

I assume you'll do it this way again Jeff, but having the production workshop last was nice.

I fully plan on spending time with some people writing tracks this weekend. Although using headphones is blah, it'd be cool to atleast get a start on something while we're all together.

Maybe remixing a track too? I'd be cool to see what others could do with a track of mine.
