HARDKORNATEMemberAre there any EDM events at this location?
cburger07Memberi dont know..i honestly dont know what EDM stands for. but i guess its possible.
damonMemberHe meant raves …
cburger07Memberi kinda gathered that, the most i could come up with for EDM was Electronic Dance Music, but nonetheless, i dont really know, im not from southern missouri, i just go to schwagstock..i wouldnt be surprised though if there was.

EDM does indeed mean electronic dance music
i think we actually looked at this site as a potential for location for aum last year but they were not really into electronic music…
cburger07Memberyeah. ive been to Campzoe twice so far and they've never had an electronic band on the schedule though a couple of times dj's have got to play after all the shows. this is a little more of a jamband type vibe when it comes to the music. this festival is pretty much a big get together of like individuals that just like to party, meet new people, have peaceful good times. the music is there just for entertainment, but the majority of the time of being at the festival will be spent hanging out, chatting, going through vendors, really whatever you want to do goes here. plenty of fun, *goodies*, and no law enforcement to bother you. anyone who enjoys festivals will enjoy this place, even if they dont like the music that plays, even though its pretty rockin. peace
damonMemberYou can always try to change it into Camp Bisco thing …
SozeKeymasterSomething like Camp Bisco somewhere near Chicago would probably go over pretty well. I don't know any one with the finances though.
Disco Biscuits, Younger Brother, Shpongle, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Tipper, Bassnectar, Karsh Kale, Glitch Mob, something like that. With a local psy, chill, and edm stage.
damonMemberThere was Rothbury festival in Michigan a while ago with Thievery Corporation, STS9, Crystal Method, Bassnectar, DJ Rekha, Diplo (according to their website) ….. I know a lot of Chicago burners were involved in it ….
cburger07Memberive always wanted to go to camp bisco as well, its just extremely far away. Campzoe would be amazing if they had electronic tunes playing throughout the night. but i guess it isnt the direction they want to take the festival, although im sure no one would complain and it probably would draw a few more people. i still recommend checking it out, its a stellar place.
