Scatter, sorry I totally forgot to give you that cd after my set but….I was really looking and asking for you like 20 min later but you were gone by then. If you are going to be at Synchronize next Wednesday before Gemini I will have it for you!

my review as usually will be coming later  😉

There is only one word to describe the strange mix of killer sets, emotions, epiphanies, the bumping into of old friends, the meeting of new ones, and all the madness and bliss that was this last Sacred Earth – EPIC. Simply epic. Thanks to everyone for making this happen. Can't wait to see you all again in June and September. And how cool were the workshops, particularly the sound production one?

On a sourer note someone should have done something about the perverted monologues being broadcasted by crazy guy via bullhorn in the wee hours of the morning. Though I don't really know what one is to do in such a situation.

If it was me I would've politly explained the situation to him and asked him to move elsewhere…We are all very decent and understanding beings, I am sure they would've apologized and moved on…

I doubt it.  If it's the same guy as past parties, I know what you speak of.  I think water balloons might be handy to have around in that situation.  Otherwise, someone could steal the bullhorn…

I dunno , when Abe asked him to move when we were doing workshops there wasn't a problem.

Again, most times if you give someone the opportunity to act decent and respectful…they will…

Strange how that works, you yell at someone and they tell you to fark off and you can't tell them what to do.  But you are kind and considerate and you will get the resolution you are looking for…

Not always.  There's a guy that takes his djembe to the psyweekly in SF and after everyone was getting annoyed with constant overlap of slightly on/slightly off drumming that wasn't intended in the music, I politely asked him to stop and be considerate of the DJ that was spinning (who happened to be one of the guys that started the whole thing).  He was back the next time I went…with the drum. 😛

If someone does that you should try to ask them to stop or find one of the people running the event. I woulda asked him nicely and if he didn't stop I woulda told him to get the fuck out. That's how you handle things 🙂

I think there were two people bullhorning it, one who was simply intoxicated and obnoxious (but harmless), and the other who struck me as mentally imbalanced. We asked the second one to stop, which he did for awhile, but then evidently he moved on to other campsites to harass others. What bothers be is me is that beyond being annoying, it has the potential to completely freak out someone who is in a more vulnerable state of consciousness. Ultimately it wasn't a big deal though, and in the future I will definitely pull aside one of the organizers if it continues to be a problem.

I don't think it was the same person. This was a new megaphone man.

One of the unavoidable consequences of setting up a zone of radical self expression  😉

Fun time indeed, being there for only saturday and sunday means I missed out on a bunch of sets, and I totally neglected the chill stage this time round, my bad.  But I brought Frankie as a spur of the moment decision and she said the same thing I said at my first psy party “I feel like I belong here” ;).  Indeed it was a fun time.  My fav sets were Basalisk (tech trancey goodness), Mubali (honestly lying on the ground with my eyes closed during that set gave me a woody)  and I was really pleased with Derby and Machi.

To whomever I was rather *ahem* rather brusque with in the woods, I apologize, but man…  altered state much?

Anyways it was nice to come out to play once again.  Hope to see you all at Fractal Fields!
