The way I see it is…

Even if in the past you have been burned, it costs you nothing to vote so if someone goes out of their way to espouse the values you support you should give them the benefit of the doubt and show some support.

Also, if you check out Rons voting record, he VERY consistent. You can tell how he's going to vote on anything by reading the constitution. FYI – thatsย  poretty much the opposite of how things go with the rest of the politicians. I think he might be the real deal…

i understand, and i will say that i too would vote ron paul, if i voted, i just have a hard time buying a system that flops almost every time.

i don't know if you recall the story that broke on the internet back when ventura became governor? the election that declared him the governor, whatever year that was. well, nbc or abc news ONLINE posted the poll results before VOTING had even began, yes this is a true story. They were +/- .01 percent off on their entire list for all fifty states, THIS WAS BEFORE POLLING BEGAN!

That's when I lost confidence in the system and when I realized it was a bunch of shit and that our vote does not count. Had that not of happened, had there not been a big shadow casted because of that, I'd probably still be voting. I just lost entire trust in the voting system because of that. And yes, I'm sure you could find it somewhere, it is a true story. Hell, even CNN ran the story immediately back then, but it was quickly washed away into something. ๐Ÿ™‚

What's the point in continuing to be sheeple as everyone on psynews uses about american people in general? It's annoying sometimes because they seem there to have the opinion that all americans suck just cause we're from here. Then again, we are pretty fucking crazy. ๐Ÿ™‚

The majority of people in this country do not vote, therefore we are ruled by those who are elected by an extreme minority. And even those elections have been fraudulant the last few cycles… but to just turn away and let evil conquer all is something I can't do. Politics is not life, but it influences life. So I think you have to deal with it on some level.
I've been following Ron Paul for awhile and he is not a typical politician. He's a libertarian and I don't agree with all his ideas, but as Nate said, he's been consistent in voting his principles these last 20 years. I can respect someone who I don't agree with if they are principled and tolerant. I believe he truly wants to help the USA get back on it's feet, while not coddling to the international bank cartel. Is that so wrong?
I urge everyone out there to read “The Creature From Jeckyll Island” to get some perspective on how far this country has gone down the fiat money hole.

crazy enough to believe, but sometimes your vote DOES count.

I love the word “sheeple.” It definitely covers a lot of americans, but I think it's a worldwide problem. There's a lot of asleep people in other countries too. Maybe it's just because we have more televisions here!ย  ๐Ÿ˜ฎย  There's definitely been an experiment of mass mind control conducted on americans for decades now, and the center of it is the corporate controlled idiot box.

Thank GOD for the internet at least. Sites like youtube and flickr are awesome. Totally equal distribution of media is really a new concept in our history. The net is the catalyst for hyper consciousnessย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways, sorry for ranting this morning. I'm gonna bike down to Millenium Park today and see Ron Paul and I'm stoked about it.
    Peace!
