For those of you who don't know, counterpoint is the interweaving of multiple independent lines to create more linear, forward moving harmonies (multiple melodies interacting) as opposed to more vertical, chord-based harmonies.  I'd like to see this a lot more in psytrance, but so far I've seen very few utilize it successfully.  Terrafractyl is one artist I can think of now…
