So, my goal right now is Gemini… but if plane tickets are too expensive and there is no other way to get around it, I will try to find some other wonderful/epic multi-day event, preferably one within reasonably drivable distance from Chicago (since the whole problem with Gemini right now is plane tickets).

Anyone know of any good regional burns or psy gatherings this summer outside of Gemini and GMSF?

(and yes, I have read a few lists of summer regionals and festivals… I'm also looking for personal recommendations though)

I'm already involved in planning two campouts. Might do three. Psykovsky at one of em… Don't forget Earthdance, aum, Orb, andSacred Earth…

or are you actually wishing someone was throwing a third competing event? Two is too many…

Not competing, just same season.

Aum will be in Cali, I hear… just as hard to get to. Will be at Earthdance for certain Sacred Earth but that's not summer…

well, I feel like if I don't do some traveling and stuff during the one season when I'm free of obligations and the weather is great, I'll regret the wasted time later. and coincidentally, I love camping, and festivals.

I feel very content with the way I spent this past summer, for example.
