i hope the Chilluminati family will be here in full force as well, as it is always a better event when the entire tribe gets together to enjoy the music! the venue we have in Des Moines, IA is truly a special one, as it is an old performance / acting theater that was totally redone and repainted by a massive crew of volunteers. it is truly a community building now, thanks in great part to Jeff Z, one of the staff of the Des Moines Social Club, and the man that introduced me to Psytrance 🙂 cant wait to bring in the New Year on the dance floor with everyone! see ya soon 😀 😀 😀

Meghetti: Unfortunately I was not able to attend Crystal Sky due to my nasty, nasty workload here at school, but trust me, I really wanted to be there. I was at Earth Dance, and helped out quite a bit with that, which happened just a few weeks before Crystal Sky. I am sure you met many of our trance brothers and sisters though, several of which who are from Iowa, or Psyowa as we call it 🙂 I look forward to meeting you nonetheless, and I can assure you that you will be quite pleased with the Psytrance events we host in Iowa 🙂 I would say they are even as good as the Chilluminati's events (like Crystal Sky), because the Chilluminati are the ones that taught us how to throw em! 😀 my first outdoor Psytrance event ever was called Secret Fire, long time ago, it changed my life to say the least, and that is why I now help to organize similar events in Iowa 🙂 looking forward to having your energy at the event! take care.

Heidi: we are finishing up the line up details and then i will post this on MnVibe where you should have much better luck asking if anyone is traveling from Minnesota. unfortunately MnVibe does not allow one to edit posts they make in the forums after 5 or 10 minutes have passed, so we have to wait until the full event write up is complete, with all pictures and details, before posting it, otherwise people who just click the event and look at the 1st post do not get a good idea of what to expect at the event. I will have it posted either Saturday or Sunday, in fact, it might even be Friday lol 🙂 i have 3 exams Friday so as soon as i get some free time after those I am going to finish editing the details and post it on MnVibe. sorry for the delay, and thanks for trying to make it down here! and just a word of warning, due to some vandalism the Des Moines Social Club music and art theater has recently experienced at some hip-hop events, they are tightening security on the place, so there will be no outside drinks allowed into the event, just so ya know. There most certainly is nothing wrong with heading out to the car to take some hits off the Franzia bag-o-wine though, in fact, thanks for the great idea 🙂

CANT WAIT! i plan on having quite a bit of security at the event to make sure we can set this baby on auto-pilot after the drum circle and UV-performance, so i plan on doing QUITE a bit of stomping… i have been unable to glue myself to the dance floor the last few events I've helped with (Earth Dance and Fractal Fields), so I definitely am planning ahead to make sure that I can strap on my metal legs for this one 😀 😀 😀

I'm going to see if i can get a dog sitter for this event and if that's the case I will be able to make it. i will be going thru Minneapolis. i will let you know as soon as i know if i can make it or not.

edit: looks like my dog sitter is a go. looks like I'll make this party after all!  I'll be leaving early saturday morning and it's 3-4 hours to the cities. things are looking like it's the start of a real good year!
