KiLLer-BeeMemberLiza! What happened? Why are you leaving us?
too many reasons Nate.
way to many to list
EnergonMemberWHEW! I think I've finally got a second to breathe and post something about this amazing event! A completely wonderful experience in just about every way. I was pretty exhausted showing up so I ended up spending most of my time @ the Chill stage just talking with others. Great to meet those of you I hadn't had the chance to talk with before.
It was an absolute pleasure listening to Machi's set. I don't get to hear music like that outside of internet trance channels or occasional overpriced club in Chicago very often. I effing LOVE trance!
Androcell / Distant System totally blew me away. This was the reason I made it out for this one… amazing music, most fun I've ever had listening to a downtempo set. I'm eagerly awaiting my copy of Spiral Empire so I can analyze those tracks in depth.
In the main room I only caught a portion of Nate's set, some of AA / Collision, but I made sure hear all of Airyck's set. As I've already said props to Nate for warming things up with some melodic guitar driven Skulptor tracks. “The Strings” is one of my personal favs, totally unexpected from you, man. MOP calmed things down a bit and Airyck definitely laid down my type of psy. Now that I've got a clearer picture of the whole morning thing I think I've found my calling. I've been looking to put a name to that sound for a while now.
I just wasn't in a stomping mood so I completely missed all of the ATL guys who came out… maybe next time when Androcell isn't playing in the room next door. ;D
WTG everyone who helped to keep the place clean. Organizers can only do so much, it's the audience's responsibility to be respectful of the venue. Maybe next time some people can resist the urge to draw on the floor! Still, this was one of the cleanest events I've ever been to… when I walked around to help pick up trash at the very end I came up empty handed. Thank you again to everyone who came together to make this happen. I continue to be impressed by what Iowa is able to pull off month after month. This IS the revolution ;D

acidityMemberAdded Anni's 109 pictures to the gallery. Now 600+ pictures 🙂
In other note, I was able to get hold of my friend Arvinds professional photographs for Double Helix and Cosmic Intermission. You might want to check them out too.
