hopefully it wasn't that level of terrible for other people
Unfortunately it was. Me and my friend drove 5 hours for this party and I've never been so disappointed. Besides this idiot punk kid who tried to hassle us (I guess because we didn't look the part ::) ), you had rude security and no alcohol. I paid for 2 VIP tickets and was supposed to get 2 free tshirts and 2 free drink tickets a piece. Well, apparently they had sold all the tshirts Friday night (we came Saturday), so they were miraculously out of the tshirts that I had already paid for. Me being well over 21, I had assumed that the free drink tickets were for alcohol, as they usually are for VIP at events like this. Perhaps I should've done my homework better, but they certainly didn't do their part to dispel the myth (many people had bought VIP expecting the same thing). Needless to say about the only free drinks you could get were soda and water and when we tried to cash in on those at the one vendor we saw we were denied. They said another guy was doing the free drinks and we'd have to go find him. We never did. This was a very amateur and unprofessional event and if this is the way they run their business they won't be around for long.
PsygominMemberLook What i Stumbled accross today.

AscensionKeymasterLOL nice find Jim!
heidibearMemberLOL, someone on the mnvibe forum said he bought the rights to the name Midwest Electronic Music Festival! Guess Infared won't be having one of those again. Hopefully this failure can inspire others to throw a good event. I would love to go to one if the probability of fail was reduced.
Thats us.
Next year…
HAH!
That's awesome, nate 😀We stayed in our little camping area pretty much the whole weekend, which was a win. We had alot of friends camping with us and good times were had.
The party itself was super-fail, my boyfriend lost his timeslot because of them shutting down early Friday night (with no explanation to us, anyways) and mid-day Saturday, we had had just about enough of dealing with the terrible security guards and the filthy, full biffys. We left right before the huge storm hit… epic timing! We were staying at a hotel close by and we really wanted to go back to see Luna-C and some of the other acts Saturday night, but in the end decided it wouldn't even be worth it to try to get back in.
I had a great time hanging out with my friends, and people i wouldn't have seen otherwise, but i'm not ever going to support one of Infared's events ever again.
Dj-TbirdMemberI'm not suprised at all that it failed, at all. They failed to pay revolution 420 productions twice last year, that's why we didn't show for this. I really don't forsee us doing video for them anytime in the future either. If they can't pay resident Vj's I'd hate to see how many other performers they haven't payed.
