Have you heard about the latest peace talks between Israel and the West Bank Palestinians?  Why no post about that?

Why post that negative old video when such positive great news is occurring NOW in the Mideast?  Don't your news feeds bring you the latest most relevant news stories?  Aren't you all about accentuating the positive? Reducing the negative?  We're you replaced by a lizard person a couple of years ago?  Or have you always been a lizard person sent here from another planet to cause disharmony among people?  Hhhhmmm…

Seriously though, anyone presenting any idea, in any field has more credibility in general when presenting the newest info or research.  I def want my doctors to be up on the latest.

good point Pauldo. i am very much aware of the peace talks, but I don't want to hype them up because Palestine wants Israel to freeze settlement expansion completely before any real negotians will be discussed, and that seems highly unlikely. kinda waiting out the situation and hoping we get some more substantial information to go off of before I get all excited about it. here is a good article demonstrating some of the things which have made me very skeptical about these 'peace talks'. The title is misleading, because I do believe peace talks are a good thing (obviously), but this article does a good job discussing some of the reasons why past peace talks have failed and why this peace talk seems no different, based on Israel's unwillingness to compromise. as for the clip I posted, yes it is old but I think it clearly demonstrates an on-going problem within our country. to think that the situation has resolved is wishful thinking in my opinion. i felt like bringing it up because some people in this forum seem to think I have some kind of opinion-based grudge against Israel, when in fact, I am only concerned because of the hoards of evidence I have seen, such as the evidence in this clip. I just wanted to show you all that there is quite a bit of evidence suggesting that Israel does not have our best interests in mind, and we need to be aware of it amongst other things. I feel like the people of this forum can handle it, but if I am wrong, please let me know. I only recently saw the clip (the same day I posted it here) and was rather shocked by it, and that is why I posted it, because it is good information that many of you have probably not seen before. I wanted to make it available to you all, since this topic is extremely important and affects all of us to some degree.

and this might make you happy, but the whole reason I signed into the forum just now was to post a positive topic to counter this kind of negative topic. literally, the whole reason I am here in this forum right now was to post a positive article to help balance this one. cool eh? I saw that you had replied so I read your reply and responded before posting the positive article I had come to share. 🙂

Also, of course Israel doesn't have our best interests in mind.  Israel has Israels best interest in mind.  I think our country should be more like that.  Especially in time like these.  Why are we still worrying about other countries getting along, and hemorrhaging “aid money” all over the world when our country seems to be coming apart at the seams?  It makes no god damn sense.
