If you havent heard already, Greg Giraldo was hospitalized saturdaynight after having been found lying face down unconscious in his hotel room, then died wednesday. I always enjoy greg giraldo, having been a staple in comedy centrals 'Roasts, and having a sharp stand up style, he always made me laugh.

I dunno about that. he overdosed on sleeping pills. that's a sticky wicket. you can overdose on rx sleeping pills without the intent of trying to 'go for a ride' … but he did have a history of drug problems

Might I ask where you're reading that sleeping pills, particularly, were the culprit? All the reports I've read are vague in saying simply Rx medications caused the overdose..

yeah I heard specifically that the parents weren't releasing such information, but maybe other close friends knew.

I'll have to ask my husband. he told me sleeping pills the day of. he might have heard it on a comedy podcast from another comedian. he listens to them religiously.

yeah, everything I have read just says accidental OD on prescription meds. I dunno where my hubs heard sleeping pills. that's what I get for listening to him. lol
