We get SO MUCH spam we want to puke. Yes we have a BIG problem with spammer bots registering bogus accounts, we are also a high pageranked site. They will get to you eventually.

Makes sense. I think the SPAM problem just goes over you. Due to all the SPAMS my previous company had to specifically use 3rd party tools to block spams in our mail.

SPAM is insane… I believe that less than 1% of the email my company receives is legit
