there is a happy balance to everything esp. in psytrance parties there are proper times for each type of psytrance music including progressive….. that makes a full complete circle, still a foreign concept for many “veterans” of the scene.
on other hand: 90% of girls I know will always prefer melodic stuff then “smashing concrete”
You don't always have to follow that formula. Formulas suck. They cause stagnation.

It had some gore and horror in it, but it was mostly of a humorous sort, so I'm a bit confused that anyone would find it that offensive. This was a Halloween party, after all. You're supposed to get freaked out, though I tried to throw in something funny here and there to break the tension.

Your visual materials were about all that was played… I am not entirely sure why they were taken too seriously. I thought they were perfect, and fit the theme well beyond my expectations. Oh well, we can't please everyone. :/

It was amazing…The visuals. BRILLIANT halloween stuff. I am always pissed at how people make halloween this day focused on gore and death. But there is never any humor to this…exept in my mind. I always watch extreme horror flicks for the humorous aspect of it. I am so thankful that someone has captured those hilarious moments and put them into what I would consider the best halloween visual comp I have ever seen. Dont remember seeing one fucking pumpkin or black cat…AWSOME!
Also there was so much cartoonish stuff…talking about the eastern european dark cartoons. WOW. I love that stuff. Also if I may ask? Have you ever seen the high speed film of paint being thrown in the air. At sacred earth 1 there was the most amazing visuals of muticolor paint being thrown in slow motion. This stuff is amazing, if you know what I am talking about, sweet. If you don't try to find some stuff, its super cool.

of course… I was actually hoping (in a strange way) that this party would open up some sort of debate. Seems as though there are a few going. Truth be told, it was a *dark* psytrance party. The visuals were dark and a little morbid. In fact, the event was even advertised as such. It's very surprising to me that I can put in huge lettering on the flyer that it will feature “some of the most sick, twisted, face-melting visuals ever” and someone is surprised that's what they got. First line says to join us with “some of the darkest psychedelic artists in the USA” — I don't get it, Abe. It's what was advertised all along.
There are people I know of that did *NOT* come to this event because of this. To each their own. But cmon, nobody should ever take these kinds of things so seriously. It was a Halloween party, and it was all in good fun. Get over it.

and if anyone was just a little bit familiar with the scene could assume so just looking at the line-up. I was really hoping to be there but it didn't work out for me to ride with Scott and Igor (thx for the offer guys 🙂 ) and after that people I was supposed to ride with failed on me… I just couldn't have made a decision to drive to the party for 4 hours just by myself – sorry, I am a pussy.
