Just curious as to what samples everybody is getting sick of hearing…i for one could go without hearing another sample from V for Vendetta for a few years

Any other annoyances?  perhaps dumb samples that just don't make any sense in the song you wish they would jsut leave out.  Particularily i've heard a few South African producers user random lines from the Underworld movies…enough to make me not want to play the track out.

Agreed.  I wrote a song with a band, after I left the band, they recorded it.  Of course then, made it cheap and retarded with a shotgun blast right in the middle.  Uh huh, Uh huh, lets put one them there shotgun blasts smack dab in the middle of our diddy, uh huh, uh huh. ::)

Artificial horn / artificial flute … just bad synth imitations of real instruments.  I guess this would go for some guitar, too. 

As far as movie samples go…I guess the intent is to make the track sound more profound…?  I kinda groan when it's sourced from something really obvious like a Pixar movie.  My least favorite moment on Cosmosis “Psychedelica Melodica” (which is otherwise a FINE album) was the Finding Nemo clips.

Haha, futurama owns 🙂  I've heard a track with that sample in there.  Aeon- “There For Party” has the best futurama samples in it.
