I think people tend to get tired of any one genre that doesn't wax and wane in intensity. Living in Madison.. there were a lot of shows I went to where it would just be dark and dirty drum and bass all night, and that kind of killed the scene there for me. Don't get me wrong I LOVE dnb, there's nothing else like it, but I just don't understand how people can listen to the same shit for 3 hours straight. It's not healthy. I love Dub-step I just think people need to relax, stop trying to please everyone and maybe play something more artsy and vulnerable to build up and break down the intensity.
