The Chilluminati present an elaborate evening of kinetic visuals and psychedelic trance music transitioning & evolving through progressive trance, Goa trance, psy-trance and psy-breaks. We took the Tampa Bay area by storm back in February with MetaTropic, our first event outside of the Midwest! Now we are heading back to the Movement Sanctuary for another evening of world-class music talent on two stages, fire and glow performances, and amazing art installations as we continue in our 13th year of bringing psychedelic music and culture across North America.

  Winner of “Best American DJ” at the IDMA’s, Christopher Lawrence is recognized as one of the world’s top DJs and producers. A dance music legend, he has been described as “One of America’s most influential DJs” by DJ Mag and “A trailblazer” by SPIN. With twenty years behind the decks, Christopher is one of the most credible names in dance music whose outspoken support of the underground has earned him the respect of industry and fans alike. Always pushing boundaries, Christopher’s tough tech trance and psy-trance infused sets are a favorite on dance floors at the darkest downtown afterhours to the world’s biggest festivals.

  Christopher has racked up numerous awards and accolades over the course of his highly successful career. Ranked #4 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 for 2007, he is also a winner of IDMA’s “Best American DJ” and DJ Times “America’s Best DJ” awards.   With a club touring schedule circling the globe, Christopher delivers his unique brand of underground mayhem to dance floors from Avalon Hollywood and Ministry of Sound to Home Sydney. He has hosted his own arena at Dance Valley, and played major festivals including Coachella, EDC, Ultra, Dreamstate, Luminosity, Creamfields and many more. Christopher was also the only DJ invited to headline all three of the inaugural Ministry Of Sound, Cream and Gatecrasher tours of America.

  Described as “A Highly Respected Producer” by Mixmag, Christopher’s name is a familiar sight on the Beatport Top 10 charts with recent smash singles – There Is A Place, Banshee, Unbroken, The Dark, Terminus, Tremor and Dark on Fire. A dance music pioneer since the nineties when he signed with Hook Recordings, Christopher’s tracks have been championed by every major trance DJ including Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Simon Patterson, John O’Callaghan and many more. Christopher’s discography includes two Billboard Top 10 artist albums All or Nothing and UnHooked. On the remix front, Christopher has lent his talents to artists from LMFAO to U2. His music has also appeared on TV shows from MTV’s Real World to Hotwheelz and an upcoming episode of Orange is the New Black, plus games including Need for Speed.
  

  PHARMACY MUSIC

  Pharmacy Music has exploded over the past few years with a thriving roster of cutting edge producers who continually push the boundaries and regularly top the Beatport charts. And with the recent launch of Pharmacy Radio, a global series of Pharmacy label nights, a new imprint Pharmacy Plus, along with the Pharmacy: Phase compilation series, it has become unstoppable. Pharmacy represents the new sound of trance, a sophisticated hybrid of underground, psy-trance and tech, which is not only redefining the genre, but giving it new credibility.

  RADIO

  Christopher recently launched Pharmacy Radio which is a re-branding of his hugely popular radio show Rush Hour which celebrated it’s 100th episode in 2016. Rush Hour was one of the worlds most groundbreaking dance music shows with syndication on Digitally Imported and 120+ FM stations worldwide. Christopher is also a frequent guest resident on Sirius XM’s Electric Area with guest mixes on radio shows including BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix.
  

  FLEMING & LAWRENCE

  Following original production work and a joint mix compilation together, underground trance titans John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence officially joined forces under the moniker Fleming & Lawrence. The pair have appeared at festivals from Dreamstate to Fright Night as well as a series of open-to-close nights everywhere from Buenos Aires to Hollywood and New York to Toronto. The buzz on this duo is massive!

  Suzy Solar (Florida, USA) shines as an internationally acclaimed trance and progressive music artist. This multi-talented DJ, vocalist, song writer, music producer and event coordinator has become a legend since her start in 1997. Her debut track “Ocean of Love” is featured on Paul Oakenfold’s Grammy nominated album “Creamfields,” and was released on EsNtion Records with a music video. Suzy’s mix albums, “The Perfect Trance” and “The Perfect Trance 2.0,” on Neurodisc/Capitol Records have topped Billboard’s U.S. Electronica charts. “Samurai,” her collaboration with Arizona (Thomas Bronzwaer) has graced dance charts worldwide, including Beatport’s top 10. It’s supported by the world’s top DJs, including Armin Van Buuren (ASOT episode #248). “Samurai” also appears on the “Technics DJ Set Volume 16” compilation and Riley & Durrant’s “A Quest For Trance 2”.

  Suzy is currently on fire, keeping busy with upcoming gigs, music production, throwing events, vocal work and more. She sang and wrote the lyrics for her most recent track, Roger Shah feat. Suzy Solar “Sanctuary” [Magic Island], released in May 2018. Her releases Tangle feat. Suzy Solar “Europa” [Universal Nation], Matt Chowski & Suzy Solar pres. Xenera – Destination For Exploration [Always Alive Recordings] and Matt Chowski & Suzy Solar pres. Xenera – 1XE [Always Alive Recordings] saw support from the likes of Indecent Noise, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Mark Sherry, Roger Shah, Adam Ellis and many more. Her tracks are also featured on many compilations, including the Supercomps album “Trance 2016 Vol.3,” “Amsterdam Trance 2016,” “”Ibiza Sunset Trance 2016,” “Vocal Trance Anthems 2017” and the Nothing But album “Nothing But… Pure Trance Vol. 15.”

  Suzy’s company Solar Power Music, Inc throws trance events regularly in central Florida and beyond. Solar Power Music also has a residency with “Lost in Trancelation” at Bikkuri Lounge, Orlando, bringing the top names for a “big DJ, intimate venue” trance family experience. She’s a pioneer for trance in her hometown, Tampa and has played in nine countries, both headlining and opening for the biggest names in trance, such as Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate and many more. She’s placed at #93 in the TrancePodium 2016 Top 100 DJs poll.

  Suzy’s popular radio show, “Solar Power Sessions,” is one of the longest running trance shows in the world. Founded in 2001, it’s passed the 800 episode milestone and is still going strong. Suzy is also A&R for We Are Trance (Bonzai) label and hosts their monthly “We Are Trance” radio show on AH.FM. She has a third radio show, “Solar Power Progressive,” where she plays progressive house and techno monthly on Progressive Beats Radio. She’s often featured on DI.FM and has been a guest on prestigious shows such as BBC Radio’s Dave Pearce “Trancecast,” Paul Van Dyk’s “VONYC Radio” and “Mondo Vs Noys” on Ministry of Sound Radio. This multi-faceted artist continues to be one of the most sought after female DJs in the world and we are thrilled to have her join the Chilluminati family for the first time!

• Ephemeral Mists

  Mythical Records .:. Tampa, FL

  Ephemeral Mists formed in late 2009 by industrial music artist, Brett Branning (also responsible for the synthetic dream foundation). The project merges ambient electronic music, electronic beats and textures, with acoustic instrumentation from the middle east and far east.

  The project has collaborated with many of the most prominent artists and labels in the psychedelic ambient music scenes including Mythical records, Atmosheric records, Ultimae and Altar records.

  Ephemeral Mists has been actively touring the United States and the middle east and has shared the stage with many other influential world fusion acts such as Karsh Kale, The Desert Dwellers, Conjure One and Delerium.

  The artist uses many instruments from the classical traditions of the far east and middle east including the Shakuhachi, Ney, hand percussion and Koto.

• Krikett

  ZFG .:. St. Petersburg, FL

  

  Krikett is a trans-dimensional spacebug known throughout the US for a beyond expectational deliverance of tasty sonical treats and shiney things. With the formula of stimulating track selection, seamless mixes, and profound live presence; she has traveled a multitude of coordinates and thousands of miles/kilometers for events of every variety. Frequencies range from all styles psychedelic; mainly psytrance, but also breaks, drum and bass, and techno; while keeping a consistent vibe of all things juicy, weird, fun, and groovy. Krikett’s motive is to always make you move and level up to the next dimensions; she is guaranteed to graciously fill the void and the dancefloor for any occasion in need of a little something extra special.

• Ascension

  Ascension is a core member of the Chilluminati from Denver, Colorado. He doesn’t have an artist bio yet for some reason so we are just filling up space here to remain consistent.

• Zeek

  Zeek has done it all, from throwing parties to rocking the airwaves, and never stops racking up hours behind the decks. He keeps busy juggling his family life as well as promotions, producing his own sound, and remixing. This man can hold his own with the best of the best and is continuously playing @ the biggest events in the Midwest area. He is known to throw down Funky, up-tempo, and groovin styles that is guaranteed to make any dance floor move.

  So versatile that you never know what he will bust out to get the crowd moving. Zeek always prides himself on the professionalism he brings to his dj craft. His smooth long blends, tight scratches, and impressive track selection are reasons enough not to miss this man rock the decks. Zeek has performed in front of thousands of electronic music lovers and never leaves the dancefloor empty.

• Evalynn

  Independent .:. Sarasota, FL

  

  EvaLynn is an aspiring trance DJ from New York who began her electronic dance music journey back in the early 90’s while still living in Europe. Though growing up with an undying love for dance music, It wasn’t until the 2000’s that her interest in creating mixes began. In 2012 her place as a DJ was confirmed when she held a yearlong DJ residency at prominent internet radio station Diesel.fm. Through this outlet she put out a monthly mix full of fresh trance beats. In 2016, EvaLynn returned to the airwaves beginning her new residency at UK internet radio station 1mix.co.uk . When playing live, Evalynn’s sets blend her many loves of trance including euphoric, tech, and psy.

  Throughout her journey as a DJ, EvaLynn has established a name for herself and had the opportunity to play at parties along PsyTrance gurus such as ShivaTree, Loud, Mr. Pink, and Protocell. Now residing in the Tampa Bay area in Florida, EvaLynn is continuing her journey as a DJ.

• Amarok

  Amarok is the psychedelic trance project of Piotr Kedzior. Remaining true to Chilluminati tradition, we don’t really have a bio for him either. So we are going to fill some space with filler text. Maybe someday we will properly represent our people.

  SCI-SET is the dance music project of Mike Kopping, a classically trained pianist and bass player turned DJ/producer. While focusing on the importance of freedom through education, SCI-SET combines science and spirituality into an elevating musical experience.

• Blake Blaze

  Independent .:. Tampa, FL

  

  Blake Blaze out of Tampa has been rockin the club and underground scene since 2001. Currently holding 4 resident spots in the Tampa Bay area He keeps the party rocking hard with his unique mixture of house music and open format style. Over the last 15 years he has played some of the best clubs and parties the midwest and Tampa area has to offer such as V live, Y bar, Enclave, Berlin, Rue 13, the OZ, PCI, YOA, LUX, Xone, Hideaway, Enigma and also many radio stations. Blake Blaze is one not to be missed. His shows are one of a kind and will make you thirsty for more!

Admission is restricted to ages 18 and up and there will be strict ID checks at the door. We encourage you to purchase pre-sale tickets to guarantee admission and to save a few bucks.

About the venue:

The Movement Sanctuary is a training center located in Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. We offer a unique variety of movement-based workshops, classes, private lessons for all levels focusing on spirit, mind & body. Whether you’re looking for a fun new workout with an inspiring group of people or training for a performance, we provide a safe facility for you to call home. Our 7,000 square foot warehouse has 35-foot ceilings for aerialists to fly in and soft mats for acrobats to land on. Outside you can find a relaxing outdoor area with hammocks, a fire pit & stage for small performances. We embody a diverse range of art forms and encourage communal efforts to create a completely unique experience. Our space has quickly become a sanctuary thanks to the support and helping hands of the St. Pete community.
