Found it on another board …

“MEMF was the biggest joke for a party I've ever seen in my life.

The security was rude and hateful. I understand that security must be strict at places and events like this, I have no problem with that, but you don't have to call people “fucking freaks”, boss them around saying shit like “get over here now. do this, do that.” for no reason other than the fact that your shirt says “SECURITY” and mine doesn't. Like that gives you the fucking right to be a fucking cunt. Not letting people in and out of the stage areas because Infrared couldn't get their shit together is not our fault. We gave you 60 dollars of OUR money to be treated like shit by your people? I don't think so.

Second of all, some kid can't handle his shit and ends up leaving in an ambulance so they shut down the first night's worth of music 3 hours ahead of schedule? What the fuck man. Your inability to properly pat down the people that are entering is once again, not my fucking fault.

There were cops everywhere. You throw your party on county fucking property, fairgrounds actually, in the middle of freakin' upper-class suburban Chicago, and they're going to be there. But having them walk around the camping area for shit to do and people to bust is not fucking cool.

You fucked over alot of my friends, Infrared, you're a waste of time and money. I hope you never throw another MEMF again, and if you do, I hope it turns out more poorly than the first. If that's even possible.

Not to mention, you treated your local DJs, your out-of-town/state DJs AND YOUR HEADLINERS like shit. You obviously don't give a flying rat's ass about this scene, so just stay the fuck out of it and save us the time, money, and vacation time you idiots.

FUCK INFRARED. I'm never going to drive 6 hours to one of your shit parties again. This party in NO WAY WHATSOEVER represented the Midwest as it needed to be represented. Failures like this are why the scene is dying, so go waste your money somewhere else and so will I.”

Felix held his shit down.  I was very impressed watching him work all weekend.  The man knows what he wants and gets it done.  Gnomes of Destruction has become part of Bak Pak Productions as well as the gnomes, and after this weekend, I am quite proud to be a part of it.  All in all I had a good time.  yeah the security sucked, and the party wasn't as professional as a psy party, but it was a rave, what the hell should I expect.  some people had horrible times, but I and everyone I talked to, had a great time.  I even converted a few kids to the psy scene.  A 50 year old too!!!!  I dunno I guess I just enjoy myself anywhere I go as long as I don't get arrested.

Sure glad I didn't end up going to this event as planned originally, but I'm glad that Ben & Ando had fun 😉

LOL, someone on the mnvibe forum said he bought the rights to the name Midwest Electronic Music Festival!  Guess Infared won't be having one of those again.  Hopefully this failure can inspire others to throw a good event.  I would love to go to one if the probability of fail was reduced.
