VA cd by chilluminati "COMMUNITY"

My Wife and i came up with this idea to make a compulation cd. have the djs on this board, get premisson or find an artist that would be willing to get an unrealesed track out, and put tracks together to make a “For the Children” comp. the idea to this point is not music for children, but music that we like and know, and others will like and purtachse, and have all profits goto a childrens hospital or something to that point in the mid west. From our point of view this is a great idea to make the electronic music scene look better in the midwest. and it would e music we all love.
I personally know that playing out there is no money. its all about the music and the money that comes is for the music. so if money is put into something positeve other than back into the music there can be something good that comes out of the darkness that our government has put on electronic music. Children are our futures, why could we not put some thing together to make our future brighter.
by now and where the chilluminati community is, and the connections that have been gained, there should be no way that a cd of this purpos couldnt happen. lets put the central US and our community on the global community again.
that's a cool idea, James. I would be happy to submit an original track or a short mix for this idea…
Maybe we could do a double-disc since there are so many djs hanging out here who might be interested. 🙂

Or, I could make a brand new one just for this compilation. The reason I mentioned using one the tracks on one of the sites I listed was because none of my tracks are used for anything still, so I could just throw them on something and it will still be OK.
i know quite a few producers on this forum who could potentially contribute…
Someone could do a continuous dj mix/mastering of the whole thing.
Sell it at upcoming events.
Money would go towards any of several good causes. Jim suggested a kid's hospital. Maybe also a legal defense fund for partygoers? What else??What distribution label would this be under? ???

It is my guess that all the other crew would be really happy to see this happen, but of course there are issues of quality if it is associated with Chilluminati; so if this looks like it might really happen (somebody takes charge and commits real time and money to it) contact one of us and let's see where this goes.
