Shpongle – 5/14/11 – Congress Theater Chicago

    I've never seen psy acts in theater settings.  How does it play to folks attending.  Are you expected to sit/stand in your seat?  Is there open areas for dancing/bouncing/nodding? 

    I love Shpongle but the whole theater deal is kinda killing it for me.

    Anyone see them in the last couple of years?

    i have never seen a “live shpongle set”. and i dont think i ever will. i have seen simon posford shpongle DJ set, and it was good. but that was at an outdoor festival in 09…. it was “good”

    you would be better of going to Goa Gil on this weekend, but its in NC

    Remember, Congress Theater security are douchebags. Plan accordingly. Seriously, they really suck. Also, the place is too big in my opinion. Other than that, I mean, it's still a Shpongle show. I'm sure it will be good times. Anyone know how much it'll cost?

    It's relatively cheap.  $15-25.  I'm used to outdoor events so I'm not worried it'll be too big a venue just too doche-y.  If that makes sense.

    Im still on the fence about it.

    The worst security ever!  They'll stop and search people at any time throughout the night without any cause…then toss you out the door if you refuse or rob you even.
