    Carpe Diem!

I came, I danced my fucking ass off, I hooped my ass off, I walked between worlds, I laughed like no other, I loved, I found something I refused to acknowledge, I started something that needed to be started to begin a real cool thing(tm).

    Thank you family.

Was awesome to witness almost 6 full hours of suomi style trance at a Chilluminati event, served up by pioneers of the genre!  A very welcome (and needed) change of pace, in my opinion.  Can't remember when I had more fun dancing.  Great meeting Timo and Pepe!

Toki : We owe this experience largely to you.  Thanks Daniel and Psunspot for your combined networking prowess.

Deep Fryer : You're a stand-up guy, and an awesome talent.  Nice picking your brain about music, etc.

Crew, DJs and supporters : Another job well done.  Hearty back-pats and crotch-grabs all around!

Bill @ Kalyx : You are a godsend.

other than the “u haul incident” (I will say no more) the evening rocked and I still haven't slept since Friday, so maybe I should do that now.  😉 There are SO MANY people to thank but let me start with Trancepsyndicate and Tyler, Amanda, Brad, and Griffin. AND of course Bill Taylor and his wonderful daughters Maya and Adrian. . . . the Electric Doyle… way more credits sooon.

major credit to TOKI for bringing SQUAREMEAT in, even tho Pepe tried to break my finger on the last day.  :-

major kudos to Dimitri for his semi-permanent floating hookah bar.

major credit to Jennifer, Christy, Mo and Katie for helping Deb and Alison with major deco work.

Thanks to Zay, Sarah, Airyck for pitching in, and thanks to Daniel P. for writing the excellent directions to Kalyx that are published on the website, promotion at U of I, and then even manning the front gate.

This event Was Awesome.  but then again how could it not be.  The Fire was Huge.  I loved the fact of playing when the sun went down.  and this Secret Fire i didn't have the Deco go up around me like the last one.  the out side chill area by the barn was killer.  chilled out but bright with color.  there where some Frisbees i played with for about an hour, i cant wait to find them and get some of my own.  the trails where crazy fun, the lightning bugs where cool on the trail between the stages when you didn't have a light.  very very fun time.

Big Thank You to person who has decided to incorporate him and his Hookah Bar. I hope it's permanent now?  ;D

we didn't “decide to incorporate” Dimitri, he showed up with the Hookah zone first time at Sacred Earth and we had no idea he was coming with it. And he just set it up; no permission needed.

Participants can bring just about any (legal) art, tents, installation, play, costume, or performance and it will be welcome so long as it fits somewhat into the party theme. WELCOME is the keyword for our parties.
