      Hello,

New here, but not new to the knowing of chilluminati.  Just bummed out.  Haha, recent birth of child (well, 8 months ago) has set me back from going to parties.  It was bad enough me and my ol lady went to MAGE II when she was erm 4 1/2 months pregnant.  I guess that explains why my son, Malick, is so chill.  He likes Sandman a lot by the way.  Witchcraft ALWAYS makes him smile.

Anyways, I am searching for the rugrats in Minnesota. I know of HARDKORNATE but he never makes contact after wanting to hang out, so I gave up on him =] (HI NATE).  I know of a professor at the UMN too who's from Belgium (Arun S.) but he's busy with teaching.  So, I'm trying to make local contacts since it's hard leaving the apartment with my schedule of being a dad and work but I have over 400 records to be consumed by others.  Anyways, a little about myself.  A collector/retired practicing DJ of 93-98 goa/psy.  I got a mad rare Spectral release on Subliminal records that's pretty dope.  *giggles*

I lack the initiative to spin after selling off my studio gear due to…well, I couldn't afford my studio space anymore and the gear sat in piles for 4 months before I decided to part with it!  I do have a record PLAYER!  H0H0H0…Beer and more beer.  No pot smoking, my place =].  Lots of psychedelic reading material (but no drugs) and a fun lighting setup (it was cheap and does the trick).  I just need some like-minded individuals who share a common interest in psy to come over, hang out and be friendly.  I feel pretty locked up right now.  He (my son) is aging pretty quickly though!  I can't wait until he hits 4 years old, but at the same time I do not want him to age beyond that because…well, you get it, he rocks.  I'm on tribe.net — peep my profile @ http://people.tribe.net/devious?r=10497 and then view my girlfriend's photo's on there to see more of me looking dorky and Malick (because he needs the world to see him! =] he loves company of others, not just his mommy and daddy! hehe!) http://people.tribe.net/ilikecookies/photos?r=10497

Well, there's a new user intro that's kind of vague, dorky, and unintelligible.  Oh, I can show you neat microwave tricks.  erm, nevermind, now I'm asking for trouble, lalala, hahahehehahah0h0.  Oh, I like gnomes too.  I'm just not allowed to venture into that world for a very long time now that I'm daddy.  jEAH!  Anyways, feel free to hit me up, anyone, anytime, anywhere you see me.  Erm, I don't go anywhere.  AHHH.  One of these days I'll make it to a gathering, or do you guys call them parties?  HEH!  I like the earlier better.

      Shouts!

      Aaron / psyshamandorkomundo.

No Jeff =[.  In a few years, yes.  We don't trust babysitters, we don't trust daycare.  It's that day and age where being a parent is the parent's responsibility and if you let someone else go with your child, whatever happens is to be blamed on the parents.  I seriously think parenting is a full time thing, and it's taken a lot of adjusting for me and my chaotic lifestyle, however, Malick is worth every minute of my life.  =]  And I don't want him going to parties until he's 4.  He can camp out with mom while I go have fun, and vice versa.  The rotational thing ya know?  Until then, I have to wait.  I can only have visitors =[[[ haha.  I think Sabrina will let me go though, maybe to one.  It's just difficult.  When she's home, I work, when I'm home, she's at work.  We work at the same place on a rotational shift, opposite ends of the week.  🙂  So it all works out for Malick.  He always has his parents around.  Ahhhhhh jeah.  I miss ya Jeff.  When you going to visit =]  You jipped my patience 🙁 I was excited then you said oops, Im broke haha!@#  I understand though =].  Call me sometime, bizzzz!!

        Hey man –

Devorah and I are parents of 2 girls, but one is a HS senior and the other a HS freshman so we are almost out of the woods!!  ;D ;D ;D FREEDOM, HALLELUJAH, 4 MO YEARS and we are FREE

We also have strict rules about what our kids can and cannot do so there's alot we miss out on. I think of myself as a neo-Victorian – I live by strict rules but I make the rules by a pagan post-modern ethos. Once we make the rules tho we abide by them and our kids are turning out really well I think as a result.

It's rough being a parent but more cool people should become parents, we would have more cool next gen kids. If the hip do not breed, the unhip will inherit the earth (and that is a scarey thought!).

2 BIG Chilluminati events much closer to Minneapolis than ever before in 2006, we hope you can somehow attend or participate.

        What is your Tribe alias?

I've seen many families with kids (at all ages) at psytrance festivals (including Burning Man) … and I always thought it's really cool 🙂

That requires ALL parents be cool… and in the case of divorce that can be difficult! Then you've got not only the biological parents but also step-parents… unless everyone has a GREAT relationship, it's best to play it safe.

Maybe if we had a supervised “kid circle” at an event we could get a lot more people who could come out. Plus, it would add a cool family dimension to the overall vibes. We would need volunteers to staff it, of course. ..and I think anyone under 18 still needs to have a guardian on location  ;D

I am sorry but I am against children at events, it just has to much potential to lead to problems.

There were a number of children at Gaian Mind. It was great. When Amy's kids came to GeoLogic, they were a delight. Generally kids in hippy families can handle themselves.

Where those the kids with glowsticks? It scared the heck out of me seeing them run around.

Sorry, I am not much of a children person. (maybe that's why I signed, “No new humans”)

I know this is a sensitive subject.
