I know it sounds odd, but you have to check this out. They can make the that salt do some pretty cool things. It takes a lil bit to load, but it's worth it. Make sure to turn your speakers down though, or risk some really painfull noises.

This really has nothing to do with salt itself, as this can be done with any “grainy” substance. This is called Cymatics and it very often
comes up in discussions of Sacred Geometry or the idea that all reality is made up of one fundamental particle, a string of some sort, and
that everything that exists is just strings that vibrate at different frequencies. In other words, the complex waves that are created through interaction
of these strings are being interpreted by us as electrons, atoms, molecules, cells, silver, light, stars, galaxies, forces, etc.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cymatics
http://www.harmonyera.com/1.2.research.htmI know it has nothing to do with salt. I just mentioned salt because that's what they are using. I just thought they made some pretty cool patterns and designs using just vibrations from sound.
I had seen that on some sci fi documentary cheeseball thing where that was supposed to open up some kind of portal that alien ships travel thorough at some monastery in Scotland or something like that.
