*If there is any chance of having the main stage out doors for future 3-day events, even for just Saturday night, PLEASE consider it. i think many more people would have jumped into the dance floor if there were stars overhead.

It wasn't our choice, Abe.  Not having trance-dance music on the outside stage was a restriction from the venue and not from us.  🙂 

Aligning Minds was trance-dance.  It was slower and more breaky, but it was loud and still trance dance.  I think the “main stage” kind of switched when they came on, but judging by the lack of a lot of people dancing, it may be an opinion that not everyone shared.

Aligning Minds was definitely amazing, no doubts about that. Although i wasnt dancing, Jessica and I were laying in the dome area during a good chunk of their set. had NO IDEA they were from USA. so great to have such great artists coming out of the USA!

Wow, thank you all for your kind words about our set. We were really feeling it, the vibe, timing, people, and the dawn set the stage for one of the best performance experiences we've ever had. Although we don't necessarily consider ourselves trance-dance, chillout, or any other genre that I feel is whole heartedly embraced by the psy community (in a traditional way), we definitely aim to put people into a hypnosis through sound, so if we succeeded in doing that, that's a great compliment. Dragon's set was immense, and all of the chillout played that morning just 'did it' for me. At Gaian Mind we will most likely be enlisting the collaborative talents of Yoko K (who works with Theivery Corporation), and/or Robert Manos who is the vocalist for Seba and Paradox, of atmospheric/drumfunk drum n' bass fame. There should be some unique flavors going on if this happens!! Again, can't wait to see you all at Gaian Mind, it's going to be truly special.

Saturday night I ended up wandering, so there's a break where I didn't tend to my recorder. Honestly, I'd wished I'd set it up by the campfire, because we could hear both stages and at times it sounded like they were harmonizing excellently. At the very least, the two stages seemed to blend together into some new genre of music beyond psy or chill…

ok… I guess time for my 2 cents

First of all big THANK YOU to the orgs of the event. Tyler, Scott, Justin and the whole group of guys I don't even know about – it's so amazing to have people like you to make things like that happen. I thought that my biggest apprecitation will be sticking to the dancefloor as much as possible, sometimes supporting dj's playing beautiful sets during morning and early afternoon hours.
Everything was top notch: atmosphere, weather, vibes, setup (appreciate it so much  :D), sound and decos – huge thanks to Derek and Carli – I have already told you guys were amazing, putting so much work, talent, time and money to make our events look beautiful and…… sexy…..thanx Pauldo, I almost cheated on my wife with your fiancy…. 
As mentioned above – amazing visuals by Pakapaka all night long. I was totally blown away, by watching them flowing with music in total sync all nite satruday.
All the artists I managed to see were beyond great: Primodial Ooze – I really prefer you guys playing later into the cicle but catching the second half of your Friday's set triggered my psychedlic mind all over again. Dragon – total psychedelic expansion and progression of beats and melodies; Psygomin – it was very nice to hear more melodic stuff from you, Scatter – awesome tunage and flow; Energon – tight mixing, beautiful track selection and harmony; Max – man you learn so fast that I am scared, beautiful performence and awesome stage persona, bro; MOP – crazy mfs, you guys rock hard and as a team each of you bring so many different elements to the table that 5 hours felt like 5 minutes and watching visuals from “Clock-work orange” was totally sick, I love you guys………Mubali, my heart is yours, you took it tore it apart and then re-wired my brain, repainted my celing (too bad you couldn't make up your mind about the colors and in result it looks like a total mess now  ;D), yeah…. and thx for 3hrs of total trance, re:educating me, calling me names…. and yeah the mask(s) was great ….. psycho… . Mist – things you were pulling off on those decks – I didn't know were possible  :o; Derby – very groovy with extra special flavour (I wonder who made that remix of Ticon's – Models on Cocaine), also thanks for that cheery pie in the morning, Airyck – you know I will be there for your sets everytime man – top of the cream, and finally organic-experience with vinyl goa tag: Scott vs Damon. It was the best closure for the event I could imagine. Scott you're the master of every medium you put your hands on; Damon – you are full of surprises, beautiful tunes and mixing, thanks for the “lolka”…

I was so happy to see and talking to all of you once again. I also got to know more names this time as well: Keith and his cool girlfriend, Blake, Mallory, Zak – it was very nice to meet you and hope to see you around. JimBob – nice chating with you and I hope to see you at the next one as I forgot to get some stuff from you. Thx to Smoker's Den for hukah experience.

it was the total bliss… and like I was saying to everyone it just doesn't get better just a little bit different each time
