I'm biased, but I think you're off base Phil. The burners I know don't revolve their whole lives around the Burning Man festival at all. They may hold core beliefs similar those the festival does (leave no trace, self expression, self-reliance) year-round. you out-stomped everyone, not that it is a competition (because it is NOT), but I just remember being so tired once the Sun was high in the air, yet you were just GOING and GOING and GOING. you still had the mask on, but no shirt, and you were just freaking out, even though it was just like you and maybe 1 other person. eventually it was just you, and Ritesh and I were like “who the FUCK is this guy? where did he come from?”

can't wait to stomp with u bro, this year is going to be extra-spicy, i can feel it 😀
