So I've been into baking lately.  Share your favorite recipes for awesome delicious food here plz.  Thx.

    Phil's Amazingly Dank Banana Bread

    Ingredients:

2 cups extremely overripe bananas (about 5 bananas), mashed (seriously, you want them to be brown as hell before using them so you end up with almost liquid banana when you mash them)
    1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
    2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
    1 cup white sugar
    1 cup dark brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    4 large eggs
    2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Greese and flour two 5 x 8 loaf pans.
    2. Mix or sift together dry ingredients, except for the sugar in one bowl–so your baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
    3. Mix sugar and butter in separate bowl until relatively smooth.  I soften the butter first and use an electric mixer on low.  Mix in the eggs, bananas, and vanilla.  Stir in the walnuts.
    4. Add the mixed wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
    5. Divide between the two pans equally and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a knife inserted into the crown of the loaf comes out clean.  Cool for five minutes in the pans and then turn out onto cooling rack to cool the rest of the way.

    Enjoy!  🙂

Oops.  1 cup of butter should have been 1/2 cup, which is one stick.  Fixed.

And actually, that's the lower calorie version.  The original recipe that I experimented with and changed and made my own called for two sticks.
