We promote very aggressively; that is the only way we have been able to grow as quickly as we have. Too many psy fanatics are in isolated areas of the midwest and have no contact with “others of their kind” so word-of-mouth is not very effective. Before 2005 the biggest Chicago psy events had many 20 people attending.

I do. Also I remember Dan EFX's parties@Bottom Lounge. If You consider 10-15 people a scene then You are right – there was a psytrance scene in Chicago before 2005  😛

With the reputation chi town has for being a CRAPPY place to travel to for parties, it's no wonder the scene sucked. I've personally dont the trip 27 times in last 12 years and had the promoters or the township screw us over at least 20 of those times. With all due respect to IL artists, wisconsin and minnesota are just more trustworthy and safer.

Yeah, I wrote off Chicago around 2000 since 4 parties in a row had either been shut down or none of headliners could mysteriously make their slots. Actually, Metatronic1 was my first time going out there for an event since then.  But Chilluminati is not your average Chicago promoters 🙂

Derby is clearly Luke, not Obiwan! So that means Julee and Troy are his ma and pa. Tattooine is very much like their native Texas. Unfortunately Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen eventually die a horrible death at the hands of stormtroopers  ::) so Julee and Troy watch out for men approaching you wearing white plastic fetish gear.
