Nice I been meaning to try out Tone2, I like the HCM. I'll have to check that out.

You know something, I wish they would do in reason5, is make the maelstrom be able to use custom grains, I mean the preset grains are dope and all, but a grainular synth with custom grain capabilititties would be amazing.

or just go to the dropbox site. I just d/led it, but I imagine it's pretty self-explanatory. I think it maybe works through email addresses?

you'll both need to create accounts and 'invite' each other to a shared folder. alternately, one of you could create an account, post your patches in a public folder, and put the link on here somewhere…

Whats wrong with it? I heard the first gen TI synths had some real issues. The B synth I'm using has it's problems but nothing too detrimental. Just annoying work-around stuff.

btw I feel like an old man listening to you guys talk about ableton and reason and shit. I haven't been able to follow anything that's been said here for the past like 3 pages  :-

I have a virus snow TI. Whenever I play a note on it now (not listing everything, but I've changed every possible setting and everything else within ableton) it pitches the sound up to a ridic level. Something's messed with it and I'll be on the phone with support once I get home today. At least it still works as a sound card so it's not just a thousand dollar paper weight 🙂

I've been using Logic, lots of midi sequencing on hardware synths. Cubase SX2 before that.

BACK IN MY DAY ALL WE HAD WAS FM SYNTHESIS. WE HAD TO OSCILLATE OUR WAVEFORMS MANUALLY, UP HILL. BOTH WAYS. IN 75 FEET OF SNOW.
