esmokahParticipantHas anyone had any experience with bringing fire spinning equipment on a plane? I would like to bring my fire poi but somehow I feel they will get me deemed a terrorist and confiscated. I'll bring my led and sock ones for sure, but there's something about fire that I need to spin it at a festival..
aktifMemberI heard that as long as you pack your wicks away to the point that they can NOT be smelled and pack them away in your checked luggage you should be fine…Fuel however is something we might have to stop for.
I guess just make sure that your luggage is not leaking gas or smells like a tanker, i guess is the bottom line.
So I got my tickets…190 out of Moline and with all the same flights that you guys have…it will be fun!!!!
ORB FEST HERE WE COME!!!
AscensionKeymasterWOOHOOO!!! Can't wait to travel with you guys, this party is gonna be awesome. There's also a bunch of people playing at orb that were at gemini so it will be awesome to reconnect with them as well ;D
esmokahParticipantThis is going to be freakin epic. I've never done anything like this before and to go on my birthday weekend makes it even sweeter. I'll make it a point to not use my wicks until we head out. I'd hate to have them confiscated as they're the nicest set I've spun! I'm good for gas money and company. I pack light as well. BOOM!!!
esmokahParticipanta week and a half away from epic winning!
AscensionKeymasterYea! Leaving tomorrow!!!
esmokahParticipantleaving tommorow morning to chicago to catch me flight out. looks like a fun weekend!
FuckinErickMemberhave a blast fucking looks sic.
esmokahParticipantOnce I get myself back together I'll let you guys know how awesome this party was!

paradigmMemberi disagree…
there was no awesomeness or epic winning at this party. Just a poorly run event, with crappy sound, no musical flow, and a bunch of orgs only interested in money, and while true they booked some great talent, and did a wonderful job on the deco.., everywhere a corner could be cut with infrastructure and behind the scenes stuff, it was
best decorated crappy party… no vibe, no soul, no family
cosmicvibrationsMember^wow, was just about to post how amazing the deco was, but yeah. that's kind of why I didn't freak out and scheme every possible way to go – I had been reading that isratrance complaint thread…
seriously though, can we all just collectively gawk at this picture real quick?

I found a lot of soul at this party from the people who came to enjoy it. I made a lot of friends and had taking the trip with kevin and nick was a journey in itself. I also got to meet my favorite producer, Simon P, on my birthday weekend. No party is perfect, and I'm still glad I went.
edit: leo, fix that link!
