“Hangable Auto Bulb” is Richard D. James' first stab at a mutated jungle sound back in the mid 90s.  The tracks hold up fine today (fav track : “Laughable Butane Bob”) and you can hear the influence they must have had on his peer MuZiq.  Fun and essential for any Aphex Twin enthusiast.  Hope Warp/Rephlex collects the Analord series on a disc like this. 

“Power Ballads” is just about the most joyous d'n'b release since…well, the last thing to come out on Hospital.  Soulful, funky, and every bit as powerful as the title suggests, this is JUST what I was needing to chase away the winter blahs.

look out world hardcore and gabber are growing on me.

one of my djs plays hardcore/ gabber  and there was this track that got me.

the Track Here I Stand(there are others on the alum) is a really good mashup of tunes from a metal band called Iced Earth
there are clips from almost all of the IE albums  crazy shit.

though hardcore for 4.5 hours is a bit much and the dj agreed.(actually he told me that)
