DAMNIT! i have been in an on going battle with work to get this date off as well as July 4th – 6th now that i have a new job at the University of Iowa Hospital…. they are very professional there i guess, they put the schedules out for 2 months in advance, so when i found out i had to work on this weekend as well as July 4th, i nearly shit my pants.
i begged and fought and was able to get the 4th of July weekend free so we can throw our event…
but this weekend they are not giving to me. I am attempting to find people to take my 2 shifts for Friday and Saturday, but things are not looking good.
Damon is an amazing person with a unique personality and energy, and he must be sent off with style.
I promise you Damon, if i cannot make it to this weekend, which seems to be the case, i will be partying with you and Varun extra hard at Expedition, to make sure you know how loved you are, and how much we will miss you.
Ill keep trying just in case though, cant wait to see you again my friend!
